Ivy nodded once, "Yes, since I got to know Miss Faye six years ago."
"Before here, where did you work?" Denis asked as he helped her pick up cups, one for her, one for him.
Ivy looked down gloomily while playing with her fingers that held the electric kettle. Her previous job was not something she should be proud of to others. Instead, she wanted to erase the dirty work from her memory.
Denis increasingly believes that Ivy works under Elijah's control, "Aunt Ivy doesn't remember me at all?"
