Kapitel 425: Dumb Wolf

‘Ruby, can you hear me?’

Ruby was lost in the dark world of her nightmares when she suddenly heard a familiar warm voice calling out to her.

‘Ruby…’

She turned around to see a big black wolf staring down at her. She was in the middle of the woods, far away from her home. In her heart, she knew that she shouldn’t waste another second there.

However, instead of turning on her heels and running away, she maintained her eye contact with that frightening creature. She slowly lifted her hand to caress the smooth fur of that wolf.

She gave a warm smile to that wolf when it came close to her and sniffed her. But all of a sudden, that wolf snarled and chomped her hand.

Ruby suddenly gasped and woke up from her nightmare. Her whole body was covered in cold sweats. And there was not a single part of her body that wasn’t aching.

“Ugh!” she grunted and tried to sit up on the floor.
