"Nope" Qi Yuan simply answered with a smile.
"This is a kidnapping! I am an official student of Ascension Academy! You think they would let this happen?" Li was desperate and tried to retort.
"So? I'm a teacher, I make the rules" Qi Yuan walked over to Li with his hand resting upon his shoulder as if suggesting his fate belongs to him.
"Won't they ask questions? What kind of shady institute allows teachers to have their way with students?" Li backed off to the wall of the cave.
"It's fine as long as it doesn't get in the way of your studies. Currently, your semester hasn't started so your stuck with me for a week. So lets get along, alright?" Qi Yuan gave another heart-warming smile but you could tell from a glance that he is finding the whole thing amusing.
"...." Li could only silently accept his fate, I mean what could he do? He is only a suicidal guy who somehow broke through the strong body realm against a teacher of the renowned Ascension Academy where the teachers are rumoured to be at least on Qi spiritualisation or tier 5 mages.
"So, since you ate, we will need to extract some blood" Qi Yuan casually commented.
Hearing this, Li dryly chuckled 'So this is my life for the next week, a lab rat huh?' "Good luck with that, my body regenerates and my blood dries up during the process"
"I knew it wouldn't be that easy, so tell me, how strong does someone have to be to injure you?"
Li pondered over the question for a few seconds as he recalled his many suicide attempts against his foes. "I would have to say around tier 3 cultivators and mages above were able to injure me. But even if I was injured, my injuries would heal crazy fast before blood actually started to pour out."
"Hm...anyone ever use an antihealing weapon or spell or technique? Something that slows down your bodies regeneration."
Li started to try and recall if there was such a time "hmm...yep, I think so."
"Who?" Qi Yuan was pleasantly surprised as he inquired more.
"Flav, a long silky dark haired guy with lean muscles who is also attending the Academy. It was quite shocking, at first he always injured me but I would heal so then he summoned some weapon and when it cut me, my injuries wouldn't heal!"
"Summoned a weapon? Tell me, did this weapon look faded? Like very transparent?"
"Yep, it was quite cool as well, the weapon was a s-"
"Ah, so it was his Qi weapon with the ability of anti healing. Quite a powerful ability for a weapon to possess. Ah, that poor kid to live a life where he would awaken such an ability" Qi Yuan interrupted Li and began to speak aloud his thoughts.
"Eh? Qi weapon? What's that? Also, what do you mean "tragic life" to unlock the ability???" Li began to bombard Qi Yuan with questions as he genuinely didn't understand what he was talking about.
"Don't worry, you'll learn at the Academy, why would I spoil the fun for you?" Qi Yuan gave a chuckle at the end from Li's ignorance.
Xuan Li's face darkened with a 'you can't be serious' expression while Qi Yuan gave a 'What you gonna do about it?' expression.
"Anyway, since anti healing weapons seem to work, we can continue with the experiments!" Qi Yuan flicked his wrists and a dagger with two snake intertwining on the handle appeared before his hand.
"This is called the twin serpent dagger. It's made from the material of red python with bleeding venom and a chameleon type snake with venom that clots your blood, eventually preventing blood from running through your body and hence you would die. Combining the fangs of the two snakes, created this dagger which can tear through a cultivator's tough skin with ease and with the combined venom as material, the dagger has been enchanted which causes anti healing."
"To give you a gage of how powerful its anti heal is, it is probably on the same level as your friends but eventually he will surpass it." Qi Yuan explained the dagger's properties and origins to Li, who was looking intently at the dagger, 'Maybe if I stabbed my heart, it would kill me faster then my body's regeneration capabilities!'
"Now lets try it, give me your hand." Qi Yuan asked and Li obediently outstretched his hand.
Qi Yuan attempted to cut Li's palm but unexpectedly, the dagger couldn't penetrate his skin!
"Hm? This dagger could penetrate a tier 3 cultivators body yet it can't against yours? What an interesting body..." Qi Yuan started to mumble while deep in thought.
On the other hand, Li was quite depressed about the dagger's capabilities, ' if it can't even cut my skin, how dare I even think I could stab my heart with it!' Tears were about to stream down his face.
"Well, guess I'll have to strengthen it with my Qi" A pure shade of white but transparent aura started to calmly rise from Qi Yuan's shoulder as it made its way towards the dagger in his hand.
For the first time ever, Li was able to see Qi Yuan's delicate and calming but deadly aura as its mere appearance began to send shivers down his spine. He immediately knew that Qi Yuan was the strongest existence he had ever met.
Though Li didn't fully understand the tier system of cultivators and mages, he could still draw comparisons from his experience of dealing with them. From his feeling, the actual power Qi Yuan is releasing was only slightly stronger then Flav's aura when they fought.
However, even if that was the case, though he felt pressured from Flav when he went serious and even slight fear. But just a release of Qi Yuan's aura, Li felt immense danger like his entire existence wasn't even worthy to breath the same air as him, in fact he felt as small as an atom in front of this existence. If Li wasn't suicidal, he would have begun to feel that his entire life was worthless in itself.
'Why am I feeling such pressure in my heart? His power is only slightly stronger then Flav's for god's sake! Is he holding back? yea, he must be...that is what strong people tend to do anyways.' After arranging his thoughts, Li calmed down
Qi Yuan obviously noticed Li's quickened heart and breathing rate 'Interesting...he is very sensitive to people's aura. Too sensitive in fact.'
"Are you ready? I'm going to cut now."
With a gulp, Xuan Li nodded his head.
