Kapitel 358: We found the man

That evening Tristan returned to the bedroom and that bothered Ashley way too much. She knew he was upset but that didn't mean he would distance himself from her.

Glancing at the door for god knows how many times, Ashley finally decided to go and check on him. She knew he was inside his study, so without wasting a second she headed there.

Standing in front of the closed door, Ashley took a deep breath before she lifted her hand and knock on it.

Click opening the door, she entered the room hoping she would see Tristan busy working but to her surprise, the view she saw clenched her heart.

With his head leaning back, Tristan was resting on his chair with his eyes closed. 

The moment she stood next to him, Ashley reached out her hand towards his face but before it could touch it, Tristan shot open his eyes and stopped her by holding her hand.
