'These dumb shits! They're going to pollute it.' Draco, who was following the goblins in charge of disposing of the orcs saw how they were going to throw them on the river and thought.

'System, shapeshift me into a goblin.' Draco commanded in his mind, using this chance to try out the function that came with Devouring.

While he was running, Draco felt his bones and muscles twist around before he completely changed into the ugly form of a regular goblin.

The goblins looked at Draco who approached them and were surprised, but they didn't stop him; one of them even said: "Are you here to help?"

"I'm here to kill!" Draco said before charging his sword with mana and launching a horizontal [Mana Slash].

Draco directly dismissed the System notifications as they weren't worthwhile and raised his hand to aim at the 9 corpses.

Draco widened his eyes looking at the [Devouring] panel.

"48 Useful Techniques? What's next 69 Paths To Heaven?" He jokingly said.

Suddenly, the influx of memories rushed to him and he absorbed them silently.

"Hmm, as I thought, the Orc King has reached the end of his evolutionary path and is looking for a way to raise his power." Draco confirmed a theory he thought of randomly while hearing the speech between Shamuji and the orcs.

"If I meet that guy, I won't even be able to run... I need to explore more paths to strength before I think about the partnership to take down Shamuji. Thankfully, I have the big tree."

Looking in the direction of the Goblin Village, Draco turned around to go back to the Big Tree, leaving only a single sentence: "We shall meet again if fate allows."

Draco ran at full speed towards the big tree, not stopping anywhere, He had to make full use of his time and he couldn't afford to stop to deal with some weakling stray wolf or red ant.

Reaching the big tree, the first thing he did was call up the system.

"System, It's about time you tell me your functions."

"Ooh, Not bad; that's quite a few functions." Draco raised his eyebrows when he heard of the various functions the system granted him.

"Let's see... Dungeon Difficulty Update? I understand what it means, but what does it do exactly?" He asked. His expectations of the system reaching their peak.

[The dungeons of this world are divided by rank, and depending on the difficulty, there are more levels to the dungeon, more varieties of beings, bigger space, better rewards, higher possibility of finding rare ingredients, materials, and monsters, stronger beings, and after successfully conquering the dungeon, one gains full control over its beings, resources and space.]

"Aha! I see. So you can change the difficulty? And what do you mean by beings? Are there not only monsters in there?" Draco was surprised by the usefulness of the dungeon.

[Affirmative, host! As for your second question, dungeons are essentially lower realms in this world as it is %error authority insufficient% therefore any race can exist in there, even humans; however, they cannot exit the dungeon without the permission of the dungeon conqueror & master. Though even with the permission they will require special method.]

"Hmm... That sucks."

"Well, what difficulty can I take on currently?" Draco was disappointed after hearing that the system could only take the dungeon E-Rank at most.

[Dungeons are usually inhabited by beings of the same stage as their rank, so an F-rank dungeon will have only non-evolved beings or rank-0 humans; however, the boss is always one or a maximum of 2 ranks higher than the dungeon in the case of an anomaly. So, in the case of the host, you are currently only advised to take on an F-rank dungeon; any higher and you will be totally obliterated.]

"It seems a dungeon is a good place to gain strength, and I know exactly where to find one; but, let's try to find more ways before proceeding." he moved on.
