"Derek, about the project meeting later... do you happen to own a coat? Or a blazer?" Sofia suddenly looked up and asked. "It's just that you and sister Jing will directly do the collaboration later with the other company. Wearing your work uniform is okay. But, it is more appropriate to wear  formal attire."

As their business was newly established, Sofia had to put into consideration the prejudices that could possibly arise during the meeting. She was not familiar with the attitude of the people that they would be meeting. However, she was completely aware that one could make discriminate just based on their outfit and appearance.

They had to simply be careful and make a good impression to secure solid connections with other companies.

However, Sofia noticed that Derek looked conflicted for a split second before he managed his composure. She could easily read his expression but before she could speak again, Derek already responded to her.
