Sofia thought that having the money on a cheque signed by Mr. Denver would be a lot of advantageous for her. As for what advantages there is, only she knew.

Before she got ready to go out, she sent a quick chat message to their group chat with Claire's name specifically tagged. 

'I'm meeting Mr. Denver, the investor in our business. @Claire do you want to join me? I'm about to head out.'

However, Sofia was not really expecting a response as her friend might still be asleep. Understandably, her friends may have been playing games until late at night. 

So, when she was about to leave and Claire did not reply, Sofia just decided to go alone.

Halfway through the bus stop, Sofia received a message from Jing Jing. 

Jing Jing: Miss Sofia, may I accompany you to the meeting?

Sofia: It's okay sister Jing. I'm on my way now. Thank you.
