"Anyway, I have a wife," Alex said, making me curious about what his wife was like. "She'll be here in a moment," he continued with a smile.

"I'd be happy to meet her," I replied.

"Okay..." He nodded, glancing at Charlie still sitting on the sofa. "I think I should go... Maybe you should calm him down."

I just nodded.
