"I am so sorry, Isabella. I have ruined your evening," Merry apologized, placing her hand over Isabella's. Isabella and Merry entered the Opera hall after showing their passes. They got the seat in the second row in the middle. The hall was pretty full as their queue was packed up except for their two vacant seats.
"Don't be. I also want to spend time with you," Isabella replied, smiling at Merry.
"You are a sweetheart," Merry said when they noticed the closed curtain in front of them slowly opened up, meaning the show would begin in a second.
Isabella concentrated on the performance while Merry already closed her eyes after ten minutes of that performance.
This time Isabella didn't feel as boring as she had felt when she was six when her family came to watch a special Opera performance.
The hall room wasn't very dark, so everything could see clearly. Because of this Isabella could see Merry was sleeping, who took her here, now taking a nap between the show. She wandered her eyes and found everyone was immersed in the show, even their stance was straight, well complementing their love for opera. The only exception was Bella and Merry. Their posture sagged and uninterested. Bella took her eyes to the first floor where the VIPs were sitting and got more privileges.
Later, Bella's gaze was struck by two people as they were sitting in a very scandalous position. The two figures were kissing vigorously while the man almost unzipped the back of that woman's dress and the woman was sitting on his lap rummaging her hand all over the man's body. What shocked Bella was that she knew the man's figure but couldn't see his face.
She felt an urgency to see his face for that. Without caring about the disturbance, she stood and came out of the row. She walked a lot while her eyes were on that person and she was trying hard to see his face. But then, from a certain position, she could see the lateral angle of his face. She knew him.
Heartache suddenly felt when she just saw the person's face. It was Alexander kissing a woman. She felt something shattered inside her and it was painful. "Why?" Bella walked out of the hall and strode toward the bathroom.
Inside the washroom, Bella leaned against the sink with her back while she looked down at her feet. Alexander's face was making her heart hurt.
"What is happening?" Bella turned and murmured, looking at the mirror. Her reflection was quite clear that she was hurt.
"Am I sick?" Isabella asked herself to justify heartaches as her sickness. She inhaled and exhaled quite a lot to release uncomfortableness within out.
"You are fine, Isabella. Go ahead. Many men are waiting for you and they are better and a gentleman than him," Isabella said to herself and walked out.
"Bella," Merry called Bella, watching her come out of the bathroom. Her nap had been broken by the lady's high-pitched voice as she took before ending the song. That's when she found the seat next to her was empty, so she came outside in search of Bella.
"Sorry. I didn't inform you before coming out," Bella said, but her eyes couldn't help but looked towards the door if the man was coming out too.
"Sorry? I should say sorry to you because I took you here when you could have a party with your friends," Merry said with a smile.
"No. It's not an unpleasant experience. If I do not come, I don't think I'll see the reality," Isabella unconsciously answered that confused Merry but didn't pay attention much as thinking she was too old to understand the young generation.
"Let's go to get ice creams," Merry said and dragged Bella out of that place, but Bella again looked toward the door for that man. There was boiling anger inside her that needed to be vented.
Early in the morning, he asked her to be with him, and in the evening, he was kissing someone else.
"Aunt, can we go home? I am not in the mood to eat ice cream," Isabella requested when her aunt was about to take the car to the nearby Ice cream parlor.
"Are you alright?" Merry was concerned when Bella rejected eating ice cream.
"No, I am just tired," Bella said when her phone vibrated as she got a text. Upon unlocking the phone, she saw she had received a message from an unknown number. "Hi, Isabella. I am Tim Saxton. I got your number from your friend Danny. Can we meet?"
Isabella quickly dialed Danny's number, "Danny," before she could finish her question, as Danny's excited voice echoed through the phone.
"Bella, did you get that message?"
"Yeah, but why did you do that?" Isabella asked in a complained tone, as she was in no mood to talk or meet anyone.
"Why did I do this? You're the one who was begging for a guy and the message you got was from the same doctor. I don't know how he found me on Instagram. He told me he wrote his number on that prescription and was waiting for your text but couldn't get anything, so he searched social media and luckily found my account," replied Danny.
"But I don't think I can," said Isabella as she was feeling low. And she didn't have the energy to talk or entertain anyone.
"Wait, dude. Just try it once. Trust me, you'll love it," Danny tried to encourage Bella. Just yesterday she was jumping for a boyfriend, now when someone asked her, she was ruining everything.
"I'm a boring person and I don't know," Isabella couldn't finish her words as aunt Merry was in the driver's seat.
"You're not. You're just scared. Go ahead, it'll be all right," Danny forced her again as Bella needed the confidence. Especially since they weren't with her, so she would reject it.
"Okay," Bella answered, and Danny hang the phone wishing her good luck. Also, she told Bella if she didn't want to accept his ride toward her house, then text her the place where Bella and Tim were going to meet. Although Bella hadn't decided she would meet him.
"Hi," Bella sent the text on the number and got a reply at lightning speed.
"I am glad you replied to me. I am at the 'Small Penshaw. Will you come? For a coffee."
Bella's finger typed 'No' and was almost sent it, but then some thoughts made her stop. It was true that last night she was searching for a boyfriend, but now she wanted to run away from this.
After a lot of fighting within herself, she typed, "Yes, I'll be there in minutes."
"Aunt Merry, will you drop me at the Small Penshaw? My friend is waiting for a coffee," Isabella said, looking at Merry.
"Why not?" Merry answered and drove the car toward that coffee shop. Bella closely looked at her aunt's expression because she didn't question her about this sudden meeting, which was strange.
"Aunt, won't you ask whom I am going to meet?" Bela asked. Otherwise, she could not feel relaxed.
"Why? You are a big girl, you can go anywhere and make fun with anyone. Just be safe," Merry said and parked the car near Small Penshaw.
Isabella felt so much love and comfort as she had poured out all to the person who was very close to her.
"Thank you. I will," Isabella replied, hugging Merry, who was strapped to the seatbelt.
"Call me after you are done. I will come to pick you up. I'll manage your father," Merry replied, patting the girl. And Merry knew what was going on inside Bella as she knew this pure heart well.
Isabella got out of the car and entered the cafe. Although the Cafe's name has the 'small' word, it was actually a big, lavish coffee shop. However, Isabella found herself in trouble because she couldn't understand who was Tim. That day in the hospital, she didn't notice him much. All she remembered was he had dark hair.
She ambled her gaze. Suddenly, a man tapped her shoulder from behind and she swiveled around. A Dark head guy was smiling at her and it was Tim, the doctor. She didn't notice this man that day, but he was actually a handsome and sexy man.
