Right now, they were back in the mansion where Xavier was staying.

To be precise, they were in the kitchen while preparing for dinner.

The merman really loved fish, since they cooked salmon. Aside from that, they also had lobsters, so she was really happy. The Woolseys had forbidden her from eating meat for five years. And the Woolseys didn't like seafood that much since apparently, they were "hard" to eat.

But Xavier was the only one with her in the dining hall (since Winston Volk was guarding outside), so she didn't hesitate to use her hands.
