Bull looked around and said, “Wait, the fifty pound sacks are on sale for only a dollar more than the thirty pound sack you have in the basket.”
Jamie blushed. “I can’t handle the fifty pound sack. I can lift the weight, but it’s too bulky and the weight shifts. Last time I tried, I fell on my ass.”
“Let me try,” Bull said. “We should probably buy two because they are on sale.” Bull wrangled the litter into the basket. “Does he need any food?”
“Yes, but I don’t get that here. I have to go to the vets to get a prescription diet food for him. He’s inclined to cystitis.”
“There’s a PetSmart on the way home. They have an in house vet, so if you have his prescription, you can get your food there.”
“His vet is in the PetSmart in Hamilton. Would that be out of the way?”
“Jamie, I live off Route 29 in a rural area pretty close to you. PetSmart is not far out of our way.” 9
