Alexander didn't speak, just watched Riven with a smile.

The so-called Omen is essentially a branch of magic. Alexander had studied it for a while himself.

To the uninitiated, Omen might seem like an extremely mysterious form of magic.

But once you get into it, you realize it's not all that special.

It's just a more complex form of fortune magic.

By obtaining an item imbued with someone's aura, you can alter that person's fortune. From this perspective, it's quite similar to witchcraft.

For a typical Diviner, due to limited abilities, they can only create minor pranks, and their ability to alter fortune is very limited, at most causing someone to have a short streak of bad luck.

The pinnacle of Omen, it is said, can forcibly change a person's destiny, what is commonly referred to as defying fate.
