The moonlight bathed the Xiao Clan's garden in a silvery glow, the scent of blooming jasmine hanging in the air. GODFIFA's confession about Ling Ying left Gu Xuner momentarily stunned, but her expression softened as she looked into his piercing amber eyes.

"You knew all along?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"From the moment we met," GODFIFA replied, his tone steady. "You carry yourself too gracefully for an ordinary girl. And your bodyguard's presence, no matter how concealed, cannot escape my senses."

Gu Xuner's lips parted slightly in surprise. Ling Ying, the Dou King-level guard assigned to her by the Gu Clan, was a master of concealment. Yet GODFIFA had seen through him effortlessly.

She studied him carefully, her heart racing. There was something about GODFIFA—his intelligence, confidence, and the way he seemed to see through everything—that drew her to him.

"You're remarkable," she admitted softly, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush.

GODFIFA chuckled, stepping closer. "And you're not as guarded as you think. But don't worry—I am someone you can trust."

For the first time in her life, Gu Xuner felt vulnerable, yet safe. Their conversation continued, filled with subtle glances and deeper understanding. By the time they parted, her heart was already leaning toward him, though she didn't fully realize it yet.
