The sudden attack caught the players of Universe 2 off guard, and Brianne, along with her teammates, fell from the top of the mountain with a thud.
"A sneak attack! A sneak attack during a transformation!"
"When someone is transforming openly, how can someone sneak attack like that? Such a person doesn't deserve to be called a martial artist!"
The players in the ring and even the audience were outraged. Almost everyone was against this unfair behavior.
As a figure slowly descended, everyone saw clearly that the attacker was Android 17 from Universe 7!
Goku was also a bit unhappy with Android 17's actions. He turned around and asked, "Android 17, why did you attack them like that?"
Facing everyone's complaints, Android 17 shrugged indifferently, "I just saw a lot of openings."
"But... I didn't use that much energy either."
Meanwhile, on the other side, Hit, who was standing opposite Broly, was staring at him in shock. The sudden attack had really startled him.
Ten seconds earlier…
While everyone was watching Brianne and her teammates transform, Broly, standing next to Hit, suddenly became furious.
Broly's face twisted in rage, his veins bulging, and he looked like a terrifying beast.
Then, Hit witnessed Broly's unexpected side...
Broly opened his mouth and unleashed a giant energy beam. The beam came so fast that it almost hit Hit. If he hadn't dodged quickly, he would have been taken out.
At that moment, Brianne and her teammates were dizzy from the attack, clearly knocked out cold.
The remaining contestants from Universe 2 quickly surrounded them, trying to protect them.
"I hated these three in the anime, and they're even worse here!" Broly growled in frustration.
The battle resumed after the short break. As time passed, more and more fighters were eliminated. Out of the original eight participating universes, only five remained!
Just moments ago, all the fighters from Universe 9 were eliminated, leading to their erasure by Zeno.
Now, Universe 9 was completely gone, with only their angel, Mojito, left.
The battle intensified as no one wanted to be the next to face erasure.
Meanwhile, Universe 6 saw a few of their fighters eliminated as well, including Cabba and two Namekians. Champa, of course, had plenty of complaints about their losses.
On the other hand, Universe 7 still had most of its key fighters standing strong.
"Ugh... my head hurts. What just happened?" Brianne finally woke up.
"Brianne! You're awake! Thank goodness!"
The Universe 2 fighters guarding her let out a sigh of relief.
Just moments ago, four of their teammates had been eliminated while protecting Brianne and the others. Jimizu, exhausted from teleporting them to safety, was easily taken out.
Hearing about what happened to their teammates, the trio from Universe 2 was furious.
"Darn it! They don't understand love at all. Fighters from other universes really need some love. We'll prove that our love is unbeatable!"
Brianne grabbed her two teammates, all of them teary-eyed and motivated.
"Alright! Let's continue the transformation!"
"Yeah!"
The three of them jumped back to the top of the mountain, determined to show everyone the power of love.
Watching them, Heles, the God of Destruction from Universe 2, wiped away a tear, deeply moved. "Brianne, you've finally returned."
"Those annoying girls are back at it again. I guess I'll have to deal with them this time!" Broly's face darkened. He couldn't believe they hadn't learned their lesson.
However, most of the other fighters had aligned to protect the trio, including Goku and Toppo, who were standing guard in front of them.
"Seriously? You guys are really..." Broly sighed, frustrated by their naivety.
This time, without any interference, the trio finally completed their transformation. Their new forms were plump and covered in fat, with sock-like hats on their heads. The sight was beyond ridiculous.
As Broly predicted, their transformation was just as ugly as it was in the anime, but in the real Dragon Ball world, it looked even worse.
But as Whis said, everyone has their own taste, and each universe has different standards of beauty. For instance, some might even like Toppo from Universe 11…
"Light of Love!"
Brianne jumped into the air and unleashed a barrage of heart-shaped energy bombs.
Each heart exploded on impact, filling the arena with pink mist. The attack had a charming effect, causing fighters hit by it to have hearts in their eyes.
"This stinks!"
Frieza, who had been lurking in the background, finally appeared. He waved away the thick fog and flicked one of the heart-shaped bombs aside.
Boom!
Suddenly, three energy blasts launched from different directions, all aimed at Brianne in mid-air.
"Not good!"
Brianne quickly stopped her attack and dodged, but because the blasts came so suddenly from multiple directions, her right arm was hit by a green energy ball.
Boom!
Brianne flew backward, grumbling internally about her bad luck with green energy.
"Hmph! It's funny that they waited this long to get serious."
Vegeta lowered his hand and scoffed.
Meanwhile, Jiren, who also couldn't tolerate Brianne's antics, had joined in on the attack. He glanced over at Broly, curious to see his reaction.
"That didn't take her down? She's tougher than I thought."
Broly was annoyed that his attack hadn't knocked her out completely. He had hoped to take her out quickly.
"You're lucky..."
Out of sight, out of mind, Broly quickly moved on to find his next target.
"Hmph! I'm really sorry, but love is unbeatable! I'll show you all just how powerful love is!"
Brianne began spinning her body rapidly, unlike most who would spin horizontally, she rotated vertically like a rolling tank.
Her face, meanwhile, became a bizarre blur as she spun.
Rushing towards Vegeta, Brianne looked unstoppable, but Vegeta sneered, ready to punch her away. As she drew closer, though, he hesitated.
In the end, Vegeta jumped out of the way at the last second.
"Darn it! She's so ugly, I couldn't help but dodge!"
