Anyway, I left a skeleton gator- Biteria, to watch over the population down there and relay back to me about what they were up to and if possible, subdue them without killing any more of them.
Biteria seemed eager to try. Apparently, these gators were fairly intelligent. And they were also sort of cowards but the red ones were the warriors and actively sacrificed themselves for their colonies.
In the meanwhile, I boarded another skeleton and while I thought we'd need two skeletons to transport the body, we didn't.
Why?
Because our skeleton gator could unhook all of his rib cage bones and graft into the dead gator like a fucking suit. I was more than just surprised. Honestly, if the corpse underneath wouldn't have rotted in a few days, I'd have considered making this my new ride. But oh well. For now, I had to settle for this walking-talking-groaning gator.
