Kapitel 7: Chapter 7

Reo walked into the lockroom, his purpose clear in every step he took. His team was gathered around him, ready for their final training session before their first match.

"Today, we're going to be doing something a bit different," Reo announced, his voice steady. "We're going to be discussing our strategy, and pinpointing positions according to our strengths. We'll also be revealing our rivals' moves, weaknesses, and strengths."

The team listened intently as Reo explained the analyzed the plays, strengths, and weaknesses of their opponents, showing them videos and examples of their moves, that he adquired through the Federation Of HighSchool Football Forum. Where every school with a football team posted material to showcase their players skills and talents.

Reo had studied every post and video, looking for any information that would give them an edge in the upcoming match. And he did, finding a lot of it.

"This is a big opportunity for us," Reo continued. "We have the chance to take the first step towards the nationals. But we have to be prepared. We have to know our opponents inside and out. And that's what we're going to do today."

The team spent the next hour discussing their strategy, pinpointing positions, and analyzing their rivals' moves. By the end of the session, they were ready for the match.

Reo stood in front of the team, a clipboard in hand and a serious look on his face. "Ok, listen up everyone. This is the final lineup for our match tomorrow. As the captain and coach, I've analyzed our opponents' plays and strengths, and I've come up with a strategy to beat them."

"Takumi, you'll be playing as forward alongside Nagi. Your speed and agility will be crucial in getting past their defense."

Next, Reo called out the names of two of the midfielders, "Kazuhira and Atsushi you'll be taking the roles of the midfield alongside me. Your precision and vision on the field will be essential in setting up the plays."

Reo continued down the line, calling out the names of the players and their positions. "Yusuke, you'll be playing defense. Your strength and endurance will be key in keeping the other team from scoring."

He called out the name of the goalkeeper, "Takumi, you'll be in charge of keeping the goal safe. Your quick reflexes and precision will be key in stopping any shots that come your way."

Reo continued to call out the names of the players to assigning them specific roles and emphasizing their strengths.

The team listened attentively, nodding in understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Reo concluded by saying, "Remember, we're a team and we'll win this match together. Let's show them what we're made of!"

With that, the team cheered and began to prepare for the match, ready to put Reo's plan into action and claim victory.

...

Reo walked out of the locker room, his heart racing with excitement and nerves. He had just finished laying out the final game plan for the match that was taking place in two days' time. His team had worked hard to get to this point, and now it was all coming down to the final showdown. As he walked out, he saw Nagi, his bestfriend and teammate, playing with his phone. Nagi looked up as Reo approached, and gave him a nod of acknowledgement.

"How are you feeling?" Nagi asked, still playing with his phone.

"I'm a little anxious, but mostly excited," Reo replied, trying to keep his nerves in check. "We've put in a lot of work to get to this point, and now it's time to show what we're made of."

"Mhm," Nagi gave a nod, "We'll win", as he replied.

Reo smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie with his teammate. "Yeah, we'll win."

The two of them walked out of the building, leaving behind their discussion of the upcoming match.

Yuna was already waiting for them outside, holding three ice cream cones. "Here you go, guys," she said, handing one to each of them.

The three of them sat down on a nearby bench and enjoyed their ice cream as they discussed their lives.

Reo went over talking about the courses his family made him go through, explaining for what they would serve him in the future and how much of a hassle they were. Yuna talked about her upcoming competiton of track and field while Nagi, he just listened without making much noise, if he did, his twin sister would notice that he was entirely out of the conversation, looking with focus at his phone screen. And that was no good for him.

Then, Yuna's expression turned "Guys, I have some bad news," she said. "Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the match. I have a competition on the same day."

Reo's face fell, but he quickly regained his composure. "That's alright, Yuna. We understand. Good luck with your competition."

Nagi, who had been quietly playing with his phone, didn't seem to register the conversation. Yuna's eyes narrowed as she noticed her brother's distraction. A thick frown appeared on her forehead, she smacked Nagi on the head. "Ow!" he exclaimed, rubbing his head.

"Nagi, what are you doing? We're talking about important stuff and you're just playing with your phone?" Yuna scolded.

Nagi looked sheepish, "Sorry, Yuna. I got caught up in a new game."

Yuna sighed in disappointment. "Well, we'll talk later, Reo. Nagi, put that phone away and lets go." With that, the twins walked away, leaving the Reo alone.

Reo chuckled at the sibling's interaction and walk off towards the place where his driver should come and take him. The car came and he got into the it.

As he sat in the car, Reo couldn't help but feel grateful for the twins, who had helped him so much to get to this point. He knew that without their help, he wouldn't have been able to prepare his team as well as he did. Now, Reo was looking forward to the match, and he knew that it would be an unforgettable experience.
