Remi’s POV

“…Blood Ink is set to tour the world, and lead singer, Gray Wilder, has been caught up in a scandal with a mystery woman–”

“Who is this Remi person? She isn’t a model, actress, or anyone in the public eye. So why is Gray Wilder–”

“Gray Wilder has been photographed with this woman multiple times and yet, he is still dating Jasmine Ivy. What is this man thinking–”

I groan and throw the television controller on the couch beside me. “Why does every news station need to mention Gray and his life? No wonder Gray is so unhappy, I would be too if the world continuously talked about me this way.”

“Stop torturing yourself, Rem,” Ava calls from the kitchen while she prepares us a sandwich for lunch. “You’re only going to further upset yourself flicking through these stations.”

“Yeah, you’re right,” I murmur as I use the controller to turn the volume down so I can focus on the manuscript on my laptop and not what the world has to say about Gray Wilder.
