Kapitel 21: #20 FIGHT AT SAUSSY VILLAGE

~~Time skip 3rd person's view~~

In the forest in Saussy village. The mysterious 4 people came

"Right on time." The guy with a scar on his face said. The wild boars surround him ready to attack. Then he brings out his grimoire and the wild boars start to attack. The boars turn into ice but the guy never said any word about the type of spell he uses. They go to the Saussy village. "So this is where the Magic Stone is located. We are going to find it." The guy said to the 3 person who wears a cloak. "Yes, sir!" They replied. Then vanished. He then blow an air from his mouth and the iced wild boars were torn, no, breaks to pieces.

~~With our Mc~~

After we reached the outskirt of the forest we landed in an open area near the village. The moment we arrive, the first thing that we saw was the village being covered by a very thick mist.

Asta: " I believe this was created by magic." and proceed to cut it with DS.

With the mist gone, we witness the villagers gathered at the center of the village with dozens of sharp icicles floating above them. And an old man was fighting with 3 side characters and one of the mages standing there with impatient expiration on his face checking his pocket watch, I recognized him immediately he should be Heath. that old man look in really bad shape.

Suddenly seeing intruders Heath let those icicles start falling, I and Magna quickly dash over to them and Magna manages to neutralize the spell with his Fire Magic while I just grab that old man from attackers. Magna then informs us this is the old man Seyhe who made the request. He then saw a group of mages nearby and demands answers.

The man, who is sitting on top of a broken wall, Heath Grice, ignores him while being irritated by Magna's interference. He launches another attack towards them. Depleted of his magical power, Magna was not capable of retaliating but I step in and cuts the spell in half and saves all of them.

Asta: "Magna, Noelle judging from the situation I think they are not from Clover Kingdom."

At the same time, the group of mages also questions the appearance of the Black Bull squad and assumes that they are on an unofficial mission. Heath then looks at his pocket watch and declares their defeat within five minutes before pursuing their purpose.

Asta: "you have some guts to underestimating me, Magna take old man and all villagers to a safe place and Noelle use your water magic for healing "

I then look towards Noelle giving her the most reassuring smile I can muster: " Aren't you royalty? then It's your job to protect them, just believe in your self and your magic, you can do it. I believe in you" and send them away.

With the flicker of my wrist I send 3 strikes toward those noobs. before they realized anything my slash was in front of them injuring them to the unconscious. seeing this Heath become serious since he wasn't even able to react and 3 of his subordinates are down.

~~Noelle's POV~~

In the meantime Magna carried old man towards a safe house along with remaining villagers. seeing all of them working hard and injured people. She realized that even if she had become a magic knight she is still pretty much useless.

Suddenly a small girl approached her and ask her: "Miss magic knight, please save us and grandpa."

seeing her crying and hopeful eyes which was the last stroke for her and Noelle regains her fighting spirit and it triggers her grimoire to reveal a new spell that manages to create water-based barriers all around them.

~~ Back To MC~~

Asta: "as much as I want you to answer all of my questions. I know for sure that people like you never talk so let's just finished it"

Heath: "I don't know how you manage do defeat my subordinates but I'll kill you all and finish my master's mission." and send powerful Ice attack towards me seeing that all the people are shifted to the safe distance I just use *soru* evading all of his attacks and finishing him off easily.

Afterward I went toward Magna and villagers.

Magna seeing me return without a scratch: "Woah, that was fast. that ice guy looks very strong to me".

Asta: "well not for me, anyway nice job Noelle. see It wasn't hard you just need confidence and some training" In return Noelle nodes towards me with a happy and grateful expression. I continue " how is that old man's condition, I wanted to ask him some questions"

Magna: "he'll need more time and treatment to return to full health but he should be fine."

Suddenly there was an Anti-magic bird appears and flies away towards one of the villager's houses. It returns with magic stone in its mouth. it has a symbol of a crescent moon and three four-pointed stars on it. I recognized it as Nero. she was always following me from Hage to Black bull. so I didn't shoo it away she returns to my side with stone. I just pat her head and took the stone from his mouth and proceed to stored in my inventory but for outsiders' point of view I was putting in my rob.

Seeing bird and stone everyone become surprised. Noelle has stars in her eyes seeing Nero and wanted to touch her, I just said: "let's go and take some evidence"

Noelle and I proceed to find all the evidence and Magna stay with his old friends helping them. I took Heath's watch as well as his grimoire and his unconscious subordinate with us as for Hearth his body just self-destructed when he was seriously injured.

After completing our mission in Saussy, and Magna's departure speech to the grandson of mayor old man Seyhe about magic knights and stuff. we return to the headquarters.

~~Meanwhile At unknown location~~

Heath's death reports about their failure to their employer. However, the employer, who wears a robe with the Golden Dawn squad insignia on it, does not seem to be frustrated by the turn of event while installing a piece of stone into a sephirot. The employer also reveals that there is no major setback on the plan.
