Kapitel 64: Chapter 64: Calm before the storm

No one realized who killed the boy. All they saw was a puddle of blood on the side of the road, surrounding the boy's lifeless body. Soon, a group of mysterious figures appeared. They approached the scene, their presence ethereal. 

They took the body, and used Magic to cleanse the blood from the streets, before disappearing like ghosts. 

Their solemn duty was to maintain the cleanliness of the streets whenever a life was taken. In a city where death had become commonplace, the sight no longer stirred any reaction from the residents.

Life in the Tower of Demons was unforgiving, and death was an ever-present companion. However, the City of Slaves was an even harsher place.

Meanwhile, back at the tavern, Raven sat deep in contemplation over the unfolding events. He couldn't shake the nagging feeling that Magnus and Ignetia held secrets beyond what met the eye.
