(<DING> F-rank UnDead Treant Killed +4xp)
[So it was alive I guess? But how did it not notice me?] Alex tried to think of a reason why he was not attacked but he had no clue at all.
Once the smoke finished clearing up, Alex saw a small shiny black crystal embedded into another tree. Alex flew to it and put it into his inventory. Alex opened up his [Inventory] and saw the crystal inside, right next to his desert eagle.
Alex took it back out of his [Inventory] and tried to use his mana to pick it up but stopped as he heard a ding go off in his head.
(<DING> Do you wish to consume 1 - H-Rank dark mana core - Yes / No )
Alex was surprised by this notification but quickly came over it and clicked yes. The dark mana core started to slowly turn into dust and a small amount of black mana transferred inside of him. Alex did not feel any sort of change but if he was back into the place he was in when he fell asleep.
He would have noticed a small black mana ball floating around.
[What did it do? System what did it do? You know what, let's give you a name. Lets name you Alexa] Once Alex said that a ding went off in his head.
(<DING> Hidden quest finished: Naming your system
+ 1 Random Common Summon Token gain.
+ 1 Random Common Abilities/Passive Token gain.
+ 1 Random Common Item Token gain.
+ 100 SP)
(Thank you host for naming me Alexa) A monotone voice was inside Alex's head.
[Hello Alexa, It's finally good to have someone to talk to] Alex said his hello to Alexa and opened up the [Token Wheel].
(<DING>
Common Summon Token used. lv 1 - Tall-Neck gain (Horizon Zero Dawn)
Common Abilities/Passive Token used. Cooking gain (Passive)
Common Item Token used. M11oa1 gain (Earth)
)
Alex giggled a little when he got the Tall-Neck, One of the machines that fascinated him the most in Horizon Zero Dawn was the Tall-Neck. One of the reasons for it was that it was huge and it was one of the more friendly machines.
[Whelp that cooking passive and the M11oa1 is currently useless for me as I have no arms currently. But it's nice to have. I guess?] Alex was a bit disappointed by the item and passive he got he has no way to use them unless he can get some kind of humanoid body from the Summon tokens.
Alex quickly got over his disappointment and focused back on the Tall-Neck he got. Alex was about to summon the Tall-Neck but stopped himself as he was on the very top of a steep mountain. So he started to fly down to find a spot to summon the Tall-Neck.
After searching around the forest for a minute, He finally found a clearing that should be big enough for the Tall-Neck. But before he summons the Tall-Neck, he flies high above the forest and uses [Thermal vision] to see if there is any kind of heat source around.
After finding nothing, Alex finally summoned the Tall-Neck.
Alex was awestruck when he summoned the Tall-Neck. The Tall-Neck looked amazing to him. Alex flew all the way to the top of head, exited from the Dragon-Fire, and then used [Body takeover] on the Tall-Neck. Alex's vision soon turns black.
Soon enough, Alex was able to see all around. Alex guessed that the Tall-Neck had 'eyes' all over its head. Once his vision comes back, Alex slowly walks forward as he needs to learn how to walk on four legs. It did not take long before Alex got a rhythm on walking on four legs.
Once he learned how to walk, Alex soon started walking in the opposite direction of the sun. Alex occasionally trampled over some of the dead trees, each time a dead tree was trampled, Alex would hear an occasional ding go off in his head.
(<DING> F-ranl UnDead Treant Killed +4xp)
And after each UnDead Treant was Killed, He would collect their dark mana core as he wanted to see if he could find other uses for these mana cores as the last one he absorbed, he didn't feel anything. Alex continued walking forward, wondering what would be in the future.

Somewhere in the human territories
"My Kings, Our mages were able to detect a large mana spike in the dead forest near the elven borders. We're still trying to figure out what caused it but so far, we found no clues. But we believe that our enemies are testing out some sort of magical device to use against our armies" A old man wearing a bright red robe was reading out loud a report of an anomaly that they found.
It was just silence after that. The old man started to sweat a bit as the pressure of the 4 men in front of him was overwhelming especially since they were just silent and staring at the old man. The old man just kept his head down and waited for one of them to dismiss him.
"You're allowed to leave, report back any findings no matter how small." A weak-looking old man wearing a pure white robe dismisses the old man. The old man himself may appear weak but the other kings know better, as even if all of them combine, they could not defeat him. As the old man himself was chosen to hold the mark of a champion by their god, Iros god of light.
"I shall take my leave. Long live the Kings." The old man said his goodbyes and quickly left.
Once the old man with the bright blue color robe left, a groan was heard. "uhhh. Problem after Problem. I wish that we could already invade those bastards already. We have hundreds of ships, dragons, wyverns, beasts, mages, and siege weapons and yet we don't attack. Why must we wait? We can win against them." A middle-aged man wearing golden knight armor was currently angry on why they should not already march to war.
"I agree. We have over a million soldiers combined and we have new weapons being made every day. It's best to attack as soon as possible while their gods and goddesses are weak." Another middle-aged man wearing a bright blue robe also agreed and slammed his fist down on the wooden table they were currently sitting at.
Sadly a section of the table broke off but a bright blue glow formed around the section that broke. Soon enough, the broken pieces slowly came back together and attached itself back to the section it came from. It looked like the table never even broke at all.
"Calm down, I've been secretly sending some men to clear out a route in the dead forest. So far from the reports, they are halfway finished with the route. They reported that they need at least 6 more months to finish unless we send more men." This time, a young man also wearing a pure white robe spoke up, trying to calm down the 2 war-hungry men.
"ENOUGH, We have a more serious problem. Iros has sent me a divine message." Once the old man said that the other Kings immediately stopped arguing and stared at the old man.
"W-What was the divine message" This time, the man wearing the golden knight armor spoke carefully and with worry. The old man sucked in a breath of air and said "Something not from this world had arrived. I do not know what it is or where it is. Find it and forcefully control it, NO MATTER WHAT. Send your best beast tamers after it. If we can capture it, Our holy crusade will be unstoppable."
Once the old man said that, It was just silence in the room. The 3 kings went into a deep thought.
The king who spoke up first was the one wearing a bright blue robe. "I'll send a team of 5 S-rank beast tamers and 3 S-rank mages with my son leading them to find the thing."
"I'll send 8 S-rank Knights to act as guards." The king with the golden armor was next to talk.
"Stop, If we send this many S-ranks, the enemy kingdoms will definitely notice the movement. Only send some C-ranks for now. If they can't deal with the thing, then we will send some S-rankers." The old man stopped them and told them his idea/order.
"Why should we send C-ranks beast tamers, it's better to quickly find the thing." The man with golden armor argues back.
"This thing must stay a secret, Our enemies must not know about it or find it themselves. This thing can change the tide of this war if our god had to send us a message." The old man quickly shut him up.
Once the old man said that, All the kings summoned a messenger and gave them the same order.
