"WARREN, QUICK, AIM FOR THE HEAD" This was Alex yelling, who was currently in Ethan's body. He was also trying his best to hold the goblin chief down while Warren tried to strike the head. But Warren was too slow.
The Goblin Chief knee caps quickly healed at a visible pace, even removing the fragments of the bullets that were shot. Once they were done healing the goblin chief got back up on his feet and grabbed Alex, who was still holding onto his neck, and threw him at Warren.
Warren saw the incoming robot but was not able to move out of the way quickly enough. Causing himself and Alex to crash into each other.
"THAT'S IT. FUCK HIM UP" Alex was angry as they spent the last 4 minutes trying to take down the chieftain without the full use of guns so Warren can get the finishing hit to level up. But the chieftain kept healing faster than they could get a fatal hit.
The drone that was flying above heard Alex order. Fire the remaining missile that recharged and fired at the Chief, aiming for the head.
The Goblin Chieftain stood no chance at all with the barrage of bullets coming its way. The regenerative factor that it had, stood no match against the constant hail of bullets and a single rocket.
Seconds after Alex gave the order. A notification pops up in front of Warren, Artin, and Alex.

Once the notification popped up, the wooden door they entered opened, and the other door the goblin boss was protecting opened, with an ominous red light shining brightly through the doorway.
Although now that he knew the boss was finally dead, he made everyone rest before they went to the final room. He also wanted his summons cooldowns to be finished. Especially his drone rocket cooldown to be finished as it's very useful and powerful.
After resting for around 30 minutes and making sure everyone had their stuff ready. They got into position and went through the door that still had an ominous red light. But when they went through the door to see the final room.
There was a giant stone gargoyle statue that was in a seated position. The statue itself was covered with dried blood, bones, and bits of flesh. But in the mouth of the gargoyle, there is a blood-red crystal that is lighting the entire room in a red hue.
Other than the stone room, it had bones, blood, and other items strewn all over it. The entire room had no hostiles but they still didn't relax because. THE ENTIRE FUCKING ROOM WAS VERY GORY.
No way in hell would someone dumb enough would let their guard down in a room filled with demonic stuff.
Alex immediately orders Gastly to scout the room. Once hearing the order, Gastly went forward to the statue but as soon as he was about 5 ft away. A translucent, blood-red barrier quickly formed around Gastly and started to shrink quickly. Luckily Alex was quick to react and unsummon Gastly, saving him from a possible death.
As Gastly was unsummoned, the red crystal started to make tendrils made out of mana and wrapped it around the statue, which absorbed the mana and the core itself.
Of course, Alex was watching everything the red crystal was doing. Once he saw mana being absorbed into the statue, he ordered everyone to fire at the statue.
2 rockets from a drone, a stream of bullets from a robot, a [Wind Cutter] from a shiny crystal, several explosives from a lawbringer, a beam from a ghost, and a single water spell from an elf girl. All travel toward the stone statue that started to move.
The first thing the stone Gargoyle saw after being reanimated, it saw several fast-moving colors heading toward it. Luckily for Alex but unluckily for the red crystal and the gargoyle. The gargoyle was decimated by the explosives.

Once the smoke cleared up from the explosion, there were only pieces of the stone gargoyle scattered around the room with the red crystal in the middle of the mess.
Once that was done, they still kept their guard up, just in case there was another unwanted surprise.
Alex sent Gastly to continue scouting the room to see if there were still some sort of traps.
But Gastly found no sort of traps or other creatures. Once that was known, Alex entered Ethan's body and went to the red core.
But as he touched the red core, he heard a prompt from his system.

Alex had two options to deal with the Dungeon Core. One to either absorb it which may possibly have unknown effects or have control over the dungeon core.
He thought about the two options and decided to go with the second option. Controlling the Dungeon Core. Once he pressed 'Yes' to control it.
A large amount of Mana came out of his hand and enveloped the dungeon core. After a couple of seconds of mana enveloping the dungeon core, the mana enters the dungeon core.

[Hey Alexa, How long will it take to have control over this core?] Alex waited for a couple of minutes waiting for the percentage to go up but nothing changed.
(It shall take around the entire day for the process to be complete.) This was the reply Alexa gave to him. Which made him wonder why it was going to take that long.
[And why does this process take a whole day to finish?] Alex was confused about why it would take a day for it to finish.
(Each dungeon that first forms has a small soul and later on with time, they form an ego. So the system either wipes out the soul if it's weak enough or it slowly changes the ego to fit the Host's needs. As this Dungeon core is an E-Rank, it has already barely formed an ego, but the ego has the intelligence of a 5-year-old. So the system decided to shift the ego from a murderous 5-year-old ego that listens to no one to a murderous 5-year-old ego that listens to your commands.) The only reply Alex gave was 'oooooooooooh, ok'.
So while he waited for the system to do its thing, he did the next best thing he could do. Loot the entire dungeon and leave. While he lets everyone do their things. He used his recently gained tokens.
