Kapitel 3: At the Master's castle
They were all led into a huge hallway in the castle, the captives were all standing at one side of the room, staring at the high ceiling and the beauty of the castle. The statues and interior of the hallway mesmerized them.
Meanwhile, Aria was eager for the Master to come into the room. Wanting to see the heartless man who caused the death of her mother.
The captives started murmuring. "Quiet!!", a voice yelled, echoing in the room. It was their Master, who walked into the room with two soldiers behind him.
"This is the heartless Sir, who had my mother killed", Aria mumbled to herself.
"Did you say anything?", the man who yelled earlier asked. He is a short, plump man, who's bald and has gray moustache. He turned to Aria, as he asked the question.
Aria nodded negatively in response to him and lowered her gaze.
"Good. Anyways, I'm Mr Otto, and you all would address me as Sir Otto. How many are they?", he asked one of the soldiers.
"Forty five sir"
"It's okay. You all would be distributed to your various aspects of work. Do not trespass and do not attempt to run away. You won't make it alive. Respect my family, if any one of them speak ill of you, the punishment would be fatal. Understood?", he asked.
"Yes sir", they all mumbled.
"Split yourselves into groups", Sir Otto commanded.
They all created groups. Aria fell in the same group as the nice woman from the ship. They were all given their duties. Aria and her group are to clean the family's rooms and do their daily laundry. Sir Otto's family consists of him, his wife and four children.
Sir Otto ended his speech amd list of rules. He left the room. The soldiers led the people down to the basement, which consists of forty beds. Some of the younger captives were to sleep on the floor. The nice woman from the ship had reserved a space for Aria.
"What's your name exactly?", the nice woman asked.
"Aria, ma'am", she answered.
"Aria, nice", the woman said, nodding her head.

About when the sun was starting to set, the captives were shown around the castle, and shown where their various works would take place.
The mistress and her four children came home and saw the new captives.
"Oh wow, new maids", she said with a smirk on her face. She dropped her purse and ordered Aria to pick it. "Hey you, pick my bag, and follow me." She stopped shortly and turned to the other maids saying, "You all better be nearby, and ready to help me with everything. If i call for any one of you, and you take more than a minute to get to me...", she paused, "...you'll be dealt with", she said as she signaled to Aria to carry her purse.

The sun finally set, and the maids were sent back to the basement with their new maid clothing. They eventually figured out that there were other maids there before them, and had been moved to another room, which signifies their supremacy over the new maids.
Aria hopes for better days and prayed for freedom and her grandmother safety. She eventually fell asleep and dreamt of her dead mother.

"Aria, my beloved daughter, as you can see, your dwelling isn't so bad. The future is bright for you my daughter. The situations you are facing is just a phase of life, all will come to an end, and you'll see the essence of your existence", her mother said to her.
"But ma...", she said, as her mother's ghost faded away...
