Kalima's eyes widened as he gazed at the sea of furry faces surrounding him. He had never seen so many monkeys in one place before. The gorilla, who appeared to be the leader, took a step closer to Kalima.
<<Who are you?>> the gorilla growled, its deep voice sending a shiver down Kalima's spine.
Kalima hesitated, unsure of how to respond. He had never really spoken to other monkeys before, except for his family. But they were all gone now.
<<I...I'm Kalima,>> he stammered, trying to sound confident.
The gorilla raised an eyebrow. <<Kalima? What kind of name is that?>>
Kalima shrugged. <<I don't know. My parents gave it to me.>>
The gorilla snorted. <<You're not from around here, that's for sure. What brings you to our territory?>>
Kalima took a deep breath and tried to explain. <<I was brought here by a strange force. I don't know how I got here or how to get back home.>>
