Kapitel 273: Stopping his punishment

VALENCIA'S POV

Once we were done with the interrogation and I answered all their questions about the matter, I stood from my place and walked out. 

Seeing the hallways empty, I couldn't help but frown. 

It was strange that Alpha Maverick wasn't waiting for me outside. I mean, I wasn't the clingy type, but he said he would wait for me, so… 

With a disappointed sigh, I turned around, wanting to go to the gardens where those flowers calmed me when I saw Aarav walking towards me. 

"Looking for Alpha Maverick?" He casually remarked. 

I didn't answer. 

"Well, he is probably being punished for his crimes last night. He could've killed those people easily, but his awful and monstrous display of murder had affected the alphas and Lunas of the other pack, especially when he did it right before the council members to exert his dominance," Aarav paused.
