VALENCIA'S POV
I looked around myself helplessly. Though I was almost out of no man's land, I was still in the danger zone.
My foot ached a bit because of how terribly it got twisted just now.
I wanted to stop too, but stopping here was only like signing my death sentence.
'You can do it, Valencia,' I told myself before nodding at myself with a newfound strength.
I stood and was about to run again when I heard the clicking of the gun.
No. Don't stop. This person was just scaring you. I told myself to keep running.
"This is your last chance. If you don't stop this time, I will really shoot," The rogue said again, and the next thing I heard was the loud sound of the gun shooting.
Covering my ears, I froze in my place, ready to feel the pain.
However, the pain that I thought I would feel, never came.
And wait. Why the hell did the shot appear so close to me?
