Kapitel 31: A Wall Of Bodies

"Seein' as you 'ave all the answers," started Luca with a smile. I was still watching the world through Max's eyes, and I couldn't help but smirk at the look on his face. A strand of his brown hair dipped into his eye, and it took everything in me not to reach up and put it back in its place. "What do we's do now?"

Everyone could hear the pounding on the doors of the detachment as the zombies trapped inside tried to get out. One of the windows to the side had been broken, and a cut up arm stretched forward, its black nails trying to grab onto anything it could. 

We were lucky that they were just the dumb zombies; at least they seemed to be easier to kill than the mutated ones. Still, both were completely capable of killing us, so it might not be all that good. 

"I told you not to come here," replied Alicia, crossing her arms over her chest as she stared Luca down. "But I was outvoted, remember?"
