Raphael hummed and nodded his head. "Jenny." He spat out the woman's name like it was poison on his tongue. "She wanted to isolate me from you four."
"Why?" asked Lucien as he leaned against the doorway, his arms crossed over his chest. Damien stood just behind him, looking at the scene on the bed. "What did she have to gain?"
"Nothing," answered Caleb, slipping between the doorjam and Lucien to enter the room. He carefully crawled across the foot of the bed and laid down at Addy's feet. "She had nothing to gain, but her mate had everything."
