"Wealth shouldn't distance one from home, as it's like wearing fine clothes at night," he remarked. "After all, Fuzhou is my hometown, and now that I have the means, why not bring about some changes there?"

Zhou Chao found a more formal outfit from the suitcase and donned it.

"My dear husband, I always knew you were the best!" Jiang Li praised, sending a few heart emojis his way.
