Kapitel 20: The talk.

Arthur POV

"Okay cool, what's up? But can we hurry up please. I have a date." I said with a smile towards Rias. In return she showed an unnerving smile "Okay. Lets get straight to it then. Do you know of the supernatural?" I simply nodded at her with a smile and said "Of course I do."

I could visibly see every single persons eyebrows furrow, apart from mine. "Okay, and what faction do you belong to?" I closed me eyes for a couple seconds, thinking on my answer "Hm. I guess you could say I don't really belong to a faction. I just do my own thing." Rias unconsciously nodded her head "That's good. Here's another question. What's your relationship with the fallen angel?" I looked at her confused. 'Koneko must not have heard all of our conversation. That's good. I was prepared for them to know everything, but this makes life easier.' I looked to Rias "I suppose were just friends right now, could be something more."

Rias narrowed her eyes at me, however I just smiled at her "And you know of her plans?" she said. I tilted my head at her question "I know of a single plan. Not plans. I must say though Rias" I started, making direct eye contact with her, previously I was looking around the room. "Your quite the devious one. Allowing a human boy to die so you could reincarnate him to gain his sacred gear. Quite devilish of you if I do say so myself" I finished with a smirk.

My observation, gaining the interest of the group, making them even more wary of me. Seeing that none of them spoke, I thought I probably should "Now, now! Don't look at me like that! I never said I was going to stop you or anything. I personally don't like the kid, do with him as you please. I was even going with Yuuma tonight to see it done." That got me even stronger glares. 'Fuck me, chill out you were going to let him die. Hypocrites.'

Rias chose the moment after I finished talking to speak. "Why are you telling us this?" I looked around the room before once again making eye contact with Rias, who was stood behind her desk. "Because I thought I'd tell you that you are wasting your time reincarnating him as a devil."

Rias gained a look of confusion on her face "Why would it be a waste? We sense a sacred gear within him" I looked at her sheepishly before replying "Yeah. He doesn't have one anymore." My comment only made her look even more confused "How come? Its not like a sacred gear just leaves a humans body"

"A pervert doesn't deserve a dragon. He is unworthy of such a being" The confused look was removed from her face and she once again narrowed her eyes at me "What do you mean a dragon?" I looked at her, my facial expression asking her if she was serious. The famous 'Really?' look.

"So... I tell you that a sacred gear has been removed from a boy, who of course is going to die for having one...And you ask me about what the sacred gear was?" She at least had the nerve to look slightly conflicted at what I said. I sighed and decided to tell her what it was, seeing no reason not to "Ahh. For your information, as you seem desperate to know. It was the Boosted gear."

*Silence*

Rias's eyes were wide. "W-what? He had the Boosted gear?" I gained the same expression as earlier "No Rias. I lied because I thought it would be really funny! Yes he had the Boosted gear." I said with a large amount of sarcasm. Rias looked distraught and I knew why. I did feel bad about removing the ace from her team, but no matter what happened, I was always going to help her. I walked up to Rias and everyone in the room tensed. "Don't move further!" I heard Kiba say to me. "Oh shut up boy! If I wanted you dead, you would be."

I leaned in to Rias to whisper in her ear "Send your peerage out. I know of your situation with Riser and I don't think you want them to know. I think I can help." I moved away from her ear and she looked at me unblinking. She turned from me after searching my face for a couple seconds and spoke to her peerage "Please wait outside the room. I have something to discuss with Arthur" Kiba made to protest but was shot down from a look Rias gave him. Silently they all moved out the room.

"So you understand why I needed Issei then?" Rias said to me, though she now sounded slightly upset. "Indeed I did. Don't worry about it though. You wont marry him." She looked me in the eye "Why? You barely know me." I laughed quite deeply at what she said "Can't it be out of generosity?" Rias gave me a disbelieving look and I laughed once more before replying "No. I suppose it can't. Your right. I have one condition to lay down if you want to acquire my help"

Rias didn't look nervous and replied calmly "And what might that condition be? Is it my body you want? Just like everybody else" I gave her a soft smile, though I was slightly upset. Not at the fact she would assume such a thing from me. But at the fact that's what she assumes everyone wants from her in return for a favor.

"No. I don't want that from you" I said to her. She continued looking at me directly in the eyes and I couldn't help but get lost in them. Her beautiful, blue eyes. "The single thing I ask of you is that you grow stronger. To train and grow. Not in strength alone, but as a person. I can see that your peerage love you, I can see that you love them just the same. They don't just see you as their master, but as a friend. As family. Grow for them. That is my condition"

As I spoke, I could see Rias grow teary eyed. But she still spoke strongly, with motivation...And hope. "How do I know I can trust you?" It was good that she wasn't so trustworthy of me, she'd be a fool to accept without reassurance. "I swear upon my honor and my entire being that as long as you follow that singular condition, You will not marry that boy. Nay. You will not marry another without your say-so in the matter. You'll be free to marry whoever you want. I may be a slight degenerate, but my word is my bond Rias."

I could see Rias think about it for a second with closed eyes, however, after a couple seconds of thought, she opened her eyes and they were blazing with determination. She nodded at me before saying "Okay Arthur. I will trust you in this. I agree to your condition. Though I still have a question. How do I know you are strong enough to face Riser and get me out of my arranged marriage?" I smirked at her question "Trust me Rias, if in nothing else, then believe this. If that boy faces me. He will lose" I said with complete resolve in the matter.

Rias smirked. I could see a weight lifted from her and her shoulders rose. 'Good, keep your word and I'll keep mine'. I could see her racking her brain at something "I suppose it should have been more obvious to us. Ophis isn't a very popular name after all. Though I haven't read anywhere that you had a sister, I still wonder. Why did your parent name your sister after Ophis the infinite dragon God?" I rose my eyebrow at her question "Hm, we don't have a familial bond from my parents. Just one by blood I guess. My parents did not name her Ophis, she already had that name long before I met her" Rias looked confused so I carried on "You ask me why someone would name my sister after a dragon God. They didn't. How can you name someone after themselves"

Rias still had a look of confusion, though it passed after a couple of seconds, most likely realizing what I meant. "W-wait! What do you mean you can't name someone after themselves! Your saying that the person you call a sister, the little girl you brought to class...Was Ophis...The infinite dragon God?" I nodded to her with a smile "Mhm, cutest little sister in the world might I add. I couldn't care less what she's capable of. To me...She's just Ophy, my cute Imouto" I said to the shocked Rias, I could see she was happy about my words also "I'm glad you see her as such. But wait, re-wind a little. You said that you had a blood bond with her, what did that mean".

I tried to think of a good way to explain. "So, as most supernatural beings know. Ophis is a being of infinity. An entity chosen by the infinite to be one with itself" I looked to Rias and she nodded in understanding "Yeah. Well, to put it simply. I am the same. Well, other than her being a dragon and me being human. Me and Ophis are both beings of infinity. It runs in our veins, in our blood you could say. And as the only beings of infinity, we are to live forever unless killed by some sort of unconventional means. So being the only two infinite entities, or in proper terms, primordial beings. We decided to stay together. Through war and chaos, through love and hate. We stand eternal. And it shall be so until the universe collapses and time comes to an end"

Rias stood there, staring at me with no emotion present on her face. "Well. That was unexpected." I couldn't tell whether she was talking to me or herself. I simply nodded at her, I get that it was probably a lot to take in. "So... Your what? A primordial entity? But you said you were human. A primordial human? That sounds a lot like the being us devils cannot name." I nodded at her understanding.

"That is indeed what I call myself. A primordial human. But no, not really like that being you cant name. You see, the being you know of isn't all-powerful. Not even me, Ophis and Red are. It goes kind of like this, though I'm also not fully sure, so take whatever I say with a pinch of salt. We'll start with the beings from the different factions, for example Shiva. These types of beings are what I would call a transcendental being, a being that has been given control over a divinity, like destruction or the sea but on a worldly scale. The being you names is the same, but in the upper echelons of a transcendence. The next is a primordial being, like me. This is an entity that has been given control over an origin power, like infinity or perdition. Then it goes onto the entities which were the beginning of the origin powers. And finally its the creation entities. The creation entities usually have control over the three main Omni's. Omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience. These beings are all powerful. And as to not worry your pretty little head, the last two types of being don't concern themselves with beings like us. The only time they would intervene is when a primordial gains full control over its power or when something really, really bad is happening"

At this point Rias was just out of it. 'Too much information for her I guess. I'm sure she'll be fine'. After a minute or two of silence she spoke "They must have quite the power" I nodded at her words. "Indeed they do. I know a single being stronger than myself and he's a great guy. I call him my grandpa. He's fine with it, so its all good" I got an out of it nod in return.

"Right. So you know what to do for our promise, make sure you train and get stronger! I have to go prepare for a date. Feel free to tell the others whatever" I said to Rias with a smile and she smiled at me as well. "Yes. Thank you for the information and the help. I'll see you tomorrow as well if you'd like?"

"Of course Rias. Goodbye" I said to her as I was turning around and walking to the door. "Bye Arthur, have a nice date" I heard her reply, with maybe a little sarcasm.

I walked out of the door and saw the rest of her peerage members. I nodded to them all and said my goodbye's. As I was walking out of the building I could hear Rias with my senses say "I forgot to talk about Issei." I chuckled and carried on walking.

'Well! Time for a date!'
