Kapitel 40: The gates of heaven.
A/N: Listen to something soothing during this chap. I did and I feel like it made it even better :)

Arthur POV
*Duff*
"Surprise! I'm back!" I shouted as I appeared back in my houses living room.
Hearing no reply, I turned around to the two girls sitting on the couch. "Hiiii~" I said to both Asia and Ophis. Though I once again received no reply. "Don't mind me! Just going to get naked and take a few laps around Kuoh!" I said pointedly at them, but their eyes didnt move from off the TV screen.
Realizing I wasn't going to get a reply, I left the living room with my back hunched in sadness. I used my senses to search for Nabe in the house, finding her to be upstairs. I walked there swiftly, noticing her looking to the stairs I was currently walking up. "Hello dear!~" I said to her cheerily. "Hello Art. How did it go in the underworld?" She asked me.
"Yeah, about as good as expected I suppose. The girls seem very entranced with what they are watching." I said to her with a smile. "Yes, they've been watching the TV since you left. A new series about some blue haired girl who like rockets and a girl who has some type of mechanical fist." Nabe said with a small shrug of her shoulders.
My eyebrow rose at this, the scenario sounding almost familiar. "Hm, sounds oddly familiar to something I've seen before." I said out loud. Shaking my head I looked to Nabe and smiled. "Anyway, I promised Asia that we would go out, so I'll be doing that for a bit. Once I'm back, im thinking of making a trip to heaven, would you care to join me?" I asked her.
Nabe bowed before replying "Of course Arthur. For business I assume?" I smiled and nodded "There will likely be some sort of business, though we can take our time and see the sites of heaven. Maybe sneak into the garden of Eden?" I said mischievously with a risen eyebrow. She smiled and nodded. "Of course Art. I'll see you soon then?" She replied.
I kissed her cheek and nodded before going back downstairs to where Asia and Ophis were. "Hey Asia, wanna go hang out for a bit?" I asked the small blonde, I could see that she was still staring at the T.V screen. She turned her head to me with wide eyes before a blush erupted on her face and she nodded. "Y-yes, of course!"
I smiled at her cute embarrassment. "Okay, cool! Get ready and we can go out and have some fun"
She jumped up from the couch and before I knew it I could hear her running up the stairs to her room to get ready. Whilst I was waiting I sat down next to Ophis and watched whatever it was they were enraptured with .
..
..
Once she was done getting ready, she ran down the stairs and presented herself to me. She was wearing a lovely floral dress that went past her knees. "You look lovely Asia." I complimented her. She hid her face behind her hands and I could hear her thank me.
I looked back to Ophis and the T.V. 'I thought I remembered that description Nabe gave me! Its Vi and Jinx from league. Goddamn shitty game.' I thought to myself as I looked at the screen, remembering my experiences with the toxic game before I came to DxD. 'Though I suppose I could steal a few of the games ideas. Maybe the armor they had, or some of the abilities?' I thought to myself. Deciding to think on this later, I said a goodbye to Ophis and made my way out of the house with Asia.
We went to an amusement park as well as an arcade before going to grab some food. Overall I'd say it was a solid 9/10 wholesome time.

Both I and Asia arrived back home around 3PM. Ophis was sitting at the island in the kitchen munching on some chocolate and Nabe was dusting in the living room.
"I had a great time Arthur! Thank you so much for taking me!" Asia spoke to me with an overwhelming amount for excitement. "Hehe, Im glad you had fun Asia, I did as well. Maybe we can do it again sometime?" I asked her sweetly. Though she was a little embarrassed at my sudden question, she nodded before replying to my question. "I-I w-would like that Arthur."
"Im glad" I said with a smile. She nodded before running off to her room. I smiled and went to Nabe in the living room. I discovered her reaching up into the corner trying to dust, however due to her tip-toeing, I had a clear view of the top of her stockings and underwear. 'Mhm, that's hot as fuck' I thought to myself as I walked over to her. Using one hand, I took the duster from her to reach up into the corner, while simultaneously putting my other hand on her plump arse and giving it a squeeze.
I felt her shiver as I did so, before she lent into me with her head on my arm. "That's my job Arthur." She said to me seriously. Though I replied to her with a polite hum. She scoffed at me before leaning up to kiss my cheek.
Once I had thoroughly cleaned the top corner of the room I turned to her with a smile. "What sort of man would I be if I didnt help you?" She smirked at me before snatching it out of my hand again. "A useless one. Now then, are you ready to visit heaven. What attire should I wear?" I chuckled before replying to her. "Hmm, please change into a white sun dress dear. I will quickly change my clothing into something more appropriate as well."
Snapping my fingers, my previous clothing had been replaced by a white shirt, white dress trousers, which are held up by a thin brown belt and a white and tan pair of brogues. 'After all, white symbolizes being pure and I think the angels love that kinda stuff' I thought humorously to myself. I looked to Nabe and she had also changed her clothes as I requested.
"You look gorgeous my love." I commented as I looked to her. "You look handsome as well Art. Shall we go?"
I nodded before trying to think of a way to get to heaven. 'Can I just think of going to heaven and it will happen? Last time I had Ophis teleport me, but I need to get a grip on my new abilities that require a few more braincells than offensive and defensive abilities. I haven't tried it.... Ah fuck it. Lets have a go at it.'
I closed my eyes and pictured myself and Nabe appearing before the gates of heaven and circulated my mana thought-out my body.
*FLASH*
'We have arrived' I thought to myself as a bright light shone through my eyelids. Opening them, the first thing I saw was a large golden gate emanating a golden light. Below my feet were what appeared to be clouds, though the surface was flat. I could feel heat spreading throughout my entire being as the sun shone upon my face. The surroundings were white and through the clouds shone golden rays of light.
All of my negativity and anxiousness washed away. Taking in a deep breath, I was reminded of the fresh air from the top of the mountain in the dungeon. I closed my eyes, simply enjoying the environment. I felt a smile appear on my face as I opened my eyes once again before releasing the breath.
I had already felt the auras of the guards at the gate when I appeared, though they did not appear to feel threatened and they simply let me be. Glancing over to them, they appeared to be wearing some white cloth and plates of gold armor around the shoulders, both wielding golden spears.
Its hard to describe what they looked. It's as if something just clicks in your brain. They simply look...Angelic. They both had soft features and a small smile, almost feminine. 'Its hard to grasp that these are...Real angels. Its so different in comparison to devils.' I thought to myself.
I turned my head to the right to see Nabe next to me, smiles on both of our faces. I nodded slightly and she walked towards me. I honestly didnt want her to act as she would when meeting someone important. I just wanted her by my side, enjoying the moment with me.
As if reading my mind, she grasped my hand and we walked towards the gate together.
One of the guards walked towards us and smiled.
"Welcome to the gates of heaven. May I ask who you are?" came the soft voice of the angel.
"My name is Arthur and this is Nabe. May I know yours?" I replied. Inwardly I was extremely happy that the guard wasn't angry or rude.
"My name is peter" the angel replied, still smiling.
"Hello peter"
