She kept soaking herself in the water until her mind said it is okay to move. Her mind pondered on the words of that red-haired noble.

‘How am I cursed?’ she pulled the silver chain and took out the locket. ‘Little Rosaline’

She played with it around her fingers. ‘Are curses true?’

The shadow climbed out from the titles and floated in front of her. ‘The people around you die, so there is no doubt you could be cursed.’ His grin does not irritate her anymore.
