“As you wish, Sir” Rosa bowed and moved to get a horse.

‘What he is trying to do is suicide.’ The shadow floated beside her.

He pointed to the number of soldiers to be left in the check post. ‘That is not enough if they wish to gang up on him.’

‘Commander Tristan should be able to catch up.’ Rosa replied although she knew she was just saying it to pacify herself.

‘You know it might be late for him to catch up that group was big. What if he does not make it in time?’ She waited in front of the horse for the prince to arrive.

Lais did not take much time and reach them. She helped the prince to climb on the horse. As she climbed up the horse with the prince behind her. Her eyes went over to Darce one last time but he was busy talking with captain Ioschen. They started with Ioschen in the lead.

Rosa gritted her teeth. ‘Stupid prince, you could have easily ridden behind one of your attendants but you have to use me instead.’
