Kapitel 242: Locating High Ground

The red-footed tortoise was roasted by Bell.

Hearing the crackling sound of the bamboo burning in the fire, Bell was very happy.

It would take some time for the tortoise to cook. Bell untied the cloth on his injury and took off the dried aloe.

He took out another piece and cut a new aloe vera like before, sticking it to the wound.

Then, he tied the cloth again.

The cool feeling made Bell narrow his eyes.

"The effect of this aloe vera is really good. I no longer feel the pain and itchiness from before.

The scab should be completely formed tomorrow. When the wound scabs, we don't have to worry about bacterial infection."

Without the threat of life, Bell was slightly more relaxed.

Looking at the tortoise that was still being roasted by the fire, Bell licked his lips.

"To be honest, I'm very surprised to be able to eat cooked food in this tropical rainforest.
