Somewhere in New York.
Norman stood still as a downward kick began to land on him, without any haste he moved his body slightly causing the kick to miss its target.
His opponent did not give up so easily and quickly reorganized himself before she started to follow him and began to deliver a series of roundhouse kicks aimed at his ribs.
However, her attacks did not have the desired result and Norman simply dodged them masterfully while hitting the weak points in the other side's stance.
It seemed that the constant failure was beginning to generate some sort of pressure on the other part, and she began to recklessly approach Norman to engage in an exchange of blows with her fists.
"You must concentrate" Norman spoke as he deflected the blows: "Emotions in combat can be your best ally, but also your worst enemy" he pointed out.
"I am calm" was the only answer Norman received, and it made him give a sigh as he shook his head.
Without further delay Norman simply began to be a little more assertive in his blows, which caused the other party to start letting out little cries of pain as she gritted her teeth to be able to take it.
Finally, Norman got through all of the other person's defenses and punched her hard in the stomach before hitting her with a roundhouse kick to the ribs, when Norman pulled back the other side was on the ground as she struggled to breathe.
Norman just watched Felicia try to get up from the ground and fall back down in a matter of seconds. With a quiet step, he approached Felicia before leaning over a bit to get a better look at her condition.
His actions gained the attention of the Hardy who looked at him with a small flash of resentment: "You shouldn't see me like that" he commented: "I didn't even hit you that hard" he added.
Osborn's words generated an immense feeling of indignation in Felicia, but due to her condition, she couldn't say anything without making things worse.
Norman just brought his hand to Felicia's back as he began to draw small circles on it to try to reassure her, "It's okay, don't panic, just inhale and exhale" he mentioned softly as he himself gave an example and made sure Felicia saw it.
The seconds passed and little by little Felicia was able to calm down and breathe properly.
So Norman simply stopped "helping" her and started to go to a kind of shelf where he saw several weapons either real or training weapons.
When he turned around after choosing one of the weapons from the shelf he could see Felicia already standing, the beautiful woman had her long snow-white hair pulled back in a ponytail, while her outfit consisted of a simple white sport top while wearing black sport leggings with small white and purple stripes to cover her long legs.
Felicia seemed to notice Norman's look and just gave a smile: "You know I've been meaning to ask you a question ever since I met you" she mentioned: "Do you find me attractive? Because your actions around me make me doubt that, not to brag, but I'm quite popular with the guys, but you don't seem to react at all" she explained briefly and her curiosity was very noticeable.
Norman just started to approach Felicia: "You are certainly attractive, but nothing more, I have enough dignity not to behave like a child who only knows how to think about one thing" he mentioned before throwing to the white-haired girl one of the weapons he had in his hands.
"Now that you recovered let's get back to our practice" was the only thing he mentioned before charging towards Felicia without even giving her time to react.
…
The place where both Norman and Felicia were was a sort of safe house that Osborn had given Bucky as an assignment, after all realistically speaking of all the people under his command he was the most experienced, although it's not like he had too many people who could do that kind of assignment.
The place was basically a complete building that was about to be destroyed however with a little money Bucky was able to get his hands on it and completely remodel it.
The renovations had been mainly slow because they were done by Bucky himself, Norman and even Walter, which made the workload much greater, but also reduced the chances of it being discovered easily.
In simple terms it could be said that it was Norman's headquarters for when certain types of work or experiments needed to be done that could be a bit outside the law.
The specific place where they were located was the building's training room which had all the tools and machines one could think of to make training as efficient as possible.
Felicia's training was something that was necessary, as despite her talent she was currently without a doubt the least experienced and the weakest, so the sooner she learned, the more prepared she would be for her missions.
Her training consisted of several aspects, the main and arguably the most important was about learning the "family business" whether it was robbery technique, infiltration or systems, most of the things that had to do with robberies were taught by Walter.
On the other hand, Norman was in charge of teaching her about hand-to-hand combat and physical training, although from time to time, he would also give her certain stealth or infiltration classes and finally Bucky would be in charge of training her in firearms handling.
Not that Norman was training her to be the next Black Widow, but he would rather she had enough knowledge so that if a really bad situation happened she could get out safe and sound, although he also hoped that kind of situation would never happen.
However, Norman let those thoughts go and simply calmed down, he was currently doing a bit of meditation while Felicia followed his lead, he hoped that the meditation would help Felicia a bit when it came to maintaining her focus and temperament in combat, but whether it did or not it was still too early to tell.
Though there was also a second reason why he was meditating and that was because ever since he awakened his teleportation power he has always felt something strange, as if a piece of the puzzle was missing.
So, he thought he could find it if he returned to the same state he had when he awakened it, but even after a long time he hadn't had any success.
Although to say unsuccessful might be too extreme, for in spite of everything every time he meditated he felt as if some sort of lake was being filled, what would happen when it was completely filled was not to his knowledge, but he was anxious to know.
A comfortable silence reigned in the room they were both in at least until some sort of beeping began to sound, which caused the two people to quickly open their eyes as Felicia walked over to some sort of bag and pulled out a phone before placing it to one of her ears.
A few seconds later she lowered her phone: "That was dad, he mentioned that mom wants me to come home for some sort of family outing" she explained as she looked at Norman.
Norman just nodded before he got up from his spot and started walking towards the exit of the room: "Come on, your house is too far away, so I'll give you a ride" he told her once he felt Felicia not moving from her spot.
Hardy was only surprised for a second before she started to follow Norman she wouldn't be stupid enough to refuse that offer.
…
When Norman arrived at his own home after leaving Felicia at hers, he was met with the sight of Mary Jane strolling alongside Harry in the mansion's garden.
Once they discovered his presence they approached him to welcome him with Harry being the more enthusiastic of the two, while Mary Jane just watched the scene blandly.
After that, they simply began to make their way to the entrance of the mansion as they engaged the three of them in small talk, for a moment Norman thought he could get used to that, but that thought was soon forgotten.
