Kapitel 31: Strong and independent
Inside the officer an elegant woman in her mid thirties was standing with grossed arms, looking at her only son in disappointment.
"You ungrateful son, I'm so disappointed in you"
"Mother I can explain"
"Explain what? You and Angel have been going out without telling me about it. You are just shameless"
"Oh.. thats it?" Asked Lee a little surprised
"What do you mean?"
"I though you will get angry with me for not working but instead doing, you know.."
"Why would I be angry? I don't care about you work, thats your fathers job. What I care about is you getting married and giving me grandchildren. So you can do 'that' all you want, anywhere, just not public, thats even more shameless"
She walked over to Angel and gave her a hug. She then dragged her to sit down.
"Lee and secretary Kim should leave the officer. I want to have a talk with Angel alone"
"But mother.."
"No buts, leave"
They both left the officer and Angel couldn't help but feel strange and nervous. She looked at Mrs. Shay and didn't know what to say.
"Why are you nervous my child, I'm not going to bite you" she said with a smile on her face.
"I know Mrs. Shay, but I cann't help it"
"Call me mother, not Mrs. Shay. You are my sons girlfriend and future wife"
"Wife?"
"Oh come on, I know how much my son loves you, he fell in love with you when you where children. He havn't even touched any women before you. You are his one and only.
Angel couldn't help but blush.
"So tell me, what do you think about my son"
"I love him more than anything. He makes me happy and I feel safe with him"
"Good good, then what do you say till we leave the officer and go to the mall, just you and me?"
"That sounds amazing, but I should probably change first"
"Why? I think you look sexy, like a badass"
"Really?" she couldn't help asking with a grin on her face.
"Yes, I never liked girls who a too innocent and helpless. Come on a woman should know how to protect herself and be elegant at the same time, she can't just count on the man. Thats also the reason that I took self defence lessons when I was a teen, because a women should know hot to be strong and independent"
"Oh wow, my respect for you, just grew even more. Mother you are amazing"
They both laughed.
Outside the officer
Lee was sitting on a chair near the desk in anger, he couldn't believe his own mother just kicked him out of HIS officer.
Lee was letting a dark aura out, that told the people around him not to bother him.
Suddenly the elevator came, and out came Geon.
"Lee? what are you doing outside your officer?"
"Ask my mother" he said in a cold tone.
Geon went closer to him and saw a newly love mark on his neck.
"Oh ~ I guess Angel is here, I'm I right?" teased Geon.
Lee didn't reply.
"Secretary Kim tell me, is the lovely Angel here?"
"Yes, and she is talking with boss's mother"
"Where?"
"In the officer"
After a few minutes, the door to the officer opened and out came his mother and Angel, hand in hand, laughing. He stood up and walked over to them.
"Whats so funny?"
"Did you know mother beated up your father when they were teens, because he asked her to be his"
"Without even asking me to go on a date" added Mrs. Shay.
"Yeah, father told me"
"Hello~ Angel"
"Oh, Geon. Long time no see, how are you?"
"I'm good, now when I got to see you~"
"What did you say" Lee gave him a cold stare.
"Nothing, I was just joking" he said blinking to her.
She laughed and so did Mrs. Shay, before she said, "we will be leaving know"
"Where are you going? You just came"
"I'm going out with mother"
"But.."
She gave him a light and soft kiss on his lips and said "I will see you tonight at home, okay?"
At home, he liked the sound of that "Fine, but before you go, take this with you" he took out his wallet and gave her, his black card.
"Oh, I don't need that, I have one already"
"Please take it"
"Thank you my son, I will used it well" his mother took the card from him and dragged Angel away from him.
"Mother! Its for Angel"
"I know and we both love you thank you son" and left inside with the elevator.
He sighed, "now I lost both my card and my love, all to my mother"
"It's okay my friend, you still have me"
"Secretary Kim, call for a meeting in about 5 minutes."
"Yes, boss"
After saying that Lee left.
"Hey Lee! What about me" he yelled at him.
"You can leave too" he yelled back.
"So cruel"
