Kapitel 23: Pictures of the past

She walked down the stairs right behind grandpa Chang, until they came to a room. The room looked nice and relaxing. In the middle it had couches and a little tabel, light in the middle of the ceiling, a bookshelf with books, shelving unit and much more.

"You can go and sit down" he said and walked over to the shelving unit. He opened it and brought a book and a photo book.

He went over to her and sat down before giving her the items. She hesitated af first but then she took the items from him.

"Grandpa, can I have some time alone?"

"Of course" he replied and left her.

Angel took a few deep breaths before opening the photo book. Inside the photo book she found a lot of pictures of her family. There were a picture of her mother at the beach, she was wearing a beautiful dress and her silver hair was flying in the wind. Her mother was looking at the camera with a gentle smile, her eyes were light green, and they were filled with love. It was a perfect picture of her.

When she turned over to the next page, she found a picture with her mother, a man and a little baby in their arms. They were both looking at the baby smiling. Behind the picture there were written, mother Siren, father Kyong and our beautiful baby Angel. Pages after pages she found more pictures of her and her parents. Pictures of her sleeping, eating, playing with toys and in all the pictures either one of her parents were on them too.

On the last page she found a picture of her and her father. Her father was holding her in the air and they both smiled looking at each other, she was about a year old. Her father had aqua blue eyes, black hair and soft smile. The picture was taken in the garden. It seems like they lived here.

An other picture was right beside the picture of her father and her, and it was a picture of her and grandpa. This picture was also in the garden and he was sitting on a chair with her in his arms sleeping.

All these pictures made her cry and tears was falling down. She hugged the photo book tight.

At the livingroom.

While she was walking to the livingroom, she heard Lee and Min Jun discuss.

"Grandpa, show me were she is I want to see her"

"Could you shut up, I want to see her too, but if I can't see her, then you can not go too"

"Who do you think you are Lee, I'm her best friend and brother, and what are you?" he sneered back

"I'm her boyfriend, which means she is my woman" he said with crossed arms.

"As if, she hasn't told me about it yet, so until she tells my herself, I'm still more classified to see her than you"

"No need to go see me I'm here" she said walking in with a smile and to items in her hand.

Min Jun ran over to her and so did Lee, they both looked at her and then at each other, making sure that she was alright.

"How are you?"

"I'm fine.. oh and Lee, when did I become your girlfriend?"

He took her by her hips and brought her closer to him. She was blushing.

"You don't want me to be your boyfriend?"

"Y-you didn't ask me?"

"Okay, then, Ange-"

"STOP!"

They both looked at Min Jun and didn't understand why he was yelling.

"You can confess to her an other time, but now I want to know, where you were and what do you have in your hands"

Lee let go of her because he also wanted to know.

"It's a secret where I was"

She gave them both a smile and walked over to grandpa Chang.

"Grandfather.. Have you been going inside that room, just to have some time alone with the photo book and mothers diary?"

"No, not the diary, only the photo book and every time I missed your parents."

"Why not the diary?"

"Because thats your mothers, not even your father have read it but I'm sure that she would like you to read it"

"I will take it home with me and read it, but grandpa.."

"You want the photo book, right?"

"No is not that, I mean yeah, but I want to make copies of them, so that we can hang them up around the house and I want pictures at my officer and apartment too"

"That sounds like a good idea, but you can forget this picture too"

He took out his wallet and inside the wallet their were a picture, which was folded. He gave her the picture and It was a family picture. It was a picture of all of them. Mother, father, grandpa and her. She was in the middle smiling and her mother was on the right side with her father hugging mother from behind and grandpa was on the left. They all looked happy, while looking at the camera.

"This picture is all that was with me"

"Wow, Angel, your parents were good looking" said Min Jun from behind

"She looks a lot like her mother" said Lee, also behind her.

She looked at them and began to smile, they were right.
