Kapitel 48: Never being apart
Inside a simple but comfortable bedroom, Angel was sitting on her bed. Even though she was happy seeing Lee again, she was also nervous for what, he was going to ask or how he would react. She left him, she lied to him and she never called him. He could only be angry at her.
Lee was walking around the room, he had stopped at her dresser. There were pictures of the twins as babies, pictures of them playing, pictures of them with Angel, Sky and his mother. They were all happy. He couldn't help becoming jealous but he was also happy.
Angel saw they way he looked at the pictures, she was worried. She was about to say something, but before she could say anything, Lee spoke out.
"How are you?" He whisper while looking at her.
"W-what?" Angel was shocked, he asked 'how she was doing' instead of yelling at her, she was expecting him to be angry.
He smiled and walked closer to her. Then he sat down beside her, turned his head to look at her. Angel did they same. They were now looking into each other's eyes. He whispered again, "how are you?"
"I-I'm good" she whispered back.
"That good..."
Silence..
"So.. I guess you left because of a predicting and not because of your 'true love'" he asked with a playful smile. Their eyes were still locked at each other.
Angel answered with a restraining voice "there was never someone else. I had to leave... if I stayed, every one a love would get hurt"
"I was hurt.." he turned his face away and looked down at the floor, "but I guess now that I found you, we can stay together.. or..?" He asked still not looking at her.
Angel put both her hands on his cheeks, then she turned his head around facing her. Their eyes met again.
"I'm sorry.. being separated from you was hard.." her eyes became more intense, "being apart for five years is enough.. you found us.. we will not leave you again" she smiled at him.
A tear could be seen falling down, he hugged her tightly for a few minutes, before letting go. Lee looked at her, "I want you to tell me everything" he said with a serious tone.
Angel knew exactly what he meant, so she started telling him about everything she saw five years ago and the reason for why she left.
Lee nodded his head, "I see.. I'm sorry, you most have been scared" he looked at her with a worried facial expression.
"I was.." Angel answered looking a little sad.
Lee smiled at her, "We are together again"
She smiled back, "Yeah.. So.. Do you want to go downstairs? Our kids have been waiting for their father"
His smile became bigger, "Yeah.. Our kids"
Angel stood up and put her hand out. Lee took her hand and rose from the bed. They both walked hand in hand over to the door.
"I still can't believe my mother could keep it a secret from us for 5 years" he said while laughing.
Angel laughed too.
Downstairs.
"Brother, why are mommy and daddy taking so long?" said little silver.
"Little silver, you heard granny and big sis, mother and father need sometime alone, they havn't seen each other for 5 years, remember?"
"We havn't seen daddy for 5 years, mommy needs to share with us. Just like she always say, 'sharing is caring'"
Angel and Lee, had just entered the living room. They heard the little twins conversation and they couldn't help smiling.
"That's right my boy 'sharing is caring,' I'm sorry, I took your daddy from you" said Angel with a big smile.
Both kids turned their heads around, when they heard their mothers voice. They ran over to their parents, hugging their legs.
Lee bend down and picked the boys up, he smiled at them. "Are you sad?"
"No daddy, We know how to share" little silver smiled and looked at his mother, "mommy it's okay"
They all laughed, while Lee walked over with the kids to the sofa. Angel stood there without moving, she couldn't move, the scene of her loved one with their kids, having a good time, made her happy. Her hole body warmed up, this is what she wanted. The felling made her tear up and when Lee sat down with the kids, Haneul lost his smile, he turned his head around. When he saw his mother with eyes full of tears, he jumped down from his fathers lap and ran over to his mother.
Little silver and Lee looked at Haneul running, they were a little shocked, but when they saw Angel, they understood why he ran, they themself got concerned about her.
"Mother, why are you crying" said Haneul gently while looking up at his mother.
When Angel fell someone hugging her leg, she looked down and saw her little boy, looking worried at her. She forgot that Haneul could fell her emotions. She bend down and looked at him with a smile.
"Sorry baby, I didn't hear what you said?
"I just asked why you are crying" he said again still worried.
"I'm not sad, I'm happy. My tears are happy-tears. If you don't believe me, try felling it yourself"
Haneul looked at his mother and after a few seconds, his face lit up in a smile. Then he took his mothers hand and pulled her over to the sofa. He placed his mother near Lee and sat down besidde her.
In that moment Sky and Mrs. Shay came in. Mrs. Shay brought cake with her, while Sky was holding juice and glasses. They put the things on the near by table. Mrs Shay and Sky sat down near the family of four.
"So, my son, did you father tell you to follow me?" Said Mrs. Shay with a firm voice, looking straight at her son.
"No mother, I told him that I would follow you, but mother don't be angry, you have been acting strange the past 5 years, father was worried"
Mrs. Shay got angry, "he put a GPS on me didn't her?"
"Mother.."
"No! Your father should have trusted me... and how come I have been acting strange? you never call or visit, so how do you even know?"
Silence hit. Lee knew his mother was right, he just tried to help his father get out of the situation, but instead he felt guilty not paying attention to the people around him over the years. Angel felt pain in her heart, when Lee didn't respond to his mother. She knew it was because of her.
Haneul could feel his mothers pain, therefore he said, "Granny, don't be angry, grandpa loves you and is afraid of losing you, while father is concerned about grandpa and you. You are fathers parents. Father will do anything to make you happy" he said with a warm smile, then he looked at his father, "isn't that right father?"
Lee was stunned for a second, his son was a genius, helping him out he couldn't help smiling back at the little boy in front of him. "That's right son. Mother you know I love you and I know I havn't been a good son the past 5 years, but thats doesn't mean that I won't do anything for you and father" he smiled at his mother.
"I know.. I love you to son" she smiled.
"Oh, granny don't worry brother and I will make grandpa apologize to you for lying" said little silver understanding the situation after hearing his brother.
"Thank you my love"
Lee smiled, then he looked at Angel who had her eyes on him. Her eyes was shining with warm, the warm that he loved so much. That warm that made him feel like he was home.. Home.."By the way, are you guys coming back with us? Since we have reunited, would it be good to come back home.. with me?"
Angel couldn't help but smile. She looked at her sons. "Boys, what do you say, to we move out and in with your father?"
Both boys faces lit up, "YES!"
