Kapitel 294: Worthy child

I needed her to stop. She was going on and I knew it was not the best for me right now. But she rained the hellfire on my thoughts yet again.

The only thing which I was glad about was she wasn't losing her temper. If she was to attack me again, I might not hold back and give her a fair fight. After all, I had to look out for myself. 

"I never wanted you to know about this, even after you were the one who did it," the queen kept repeating the words as if to hammer them in my head. "This was when you plunged a knife into my belly, so your brother could..." it looked like she found it hard to finish the sentence with her crying. Wasn't it already evident which part of the story, one that I already knew, was those stab wounds from? Now I was sure she was using her ability to bring me to her beliefs. Which was why she must have given me the drink even now.
