Kapitel 148: White Shadow

"There… there!" The young woman spoke as she pointed in a direction.

So, they were off. Safira moved at lightning speed. The young woman held her breath, unable to believe just how fast they were moving. Her body swayed from side to side.

Safira made sure she wasn't hurt, carefully avoiding any low-hanging branches. Under normal circumstances, she would have run through them without a second thought.

But she wasn't about to kill the human woman.

True to her words, they soon came up on the carriage, pulled by multiple horses. It was also guarded by mounted soldiers.

"Hang on," she whispered to the human before leaping out of the forest cover and onto the main road that the carriage was running on.

She stood before the carriage and let go of the young woman, putting her down gently on the side. She turned her attention back to the carriage and put one foot forward.

"Cover your ears," she said to the human before lifting her head towards the sky.
