Safira blushed beet red.

Damien didn't give her a chance to finish her sentence. He pressed his lips against hers as he cradled her face in his hands. Safira closed her eyes. At that moment, the entire world faded from view.

There was only them and the sky full of stars above their heads.

They savored the moment, longing for more as they felt the softness of their lips against each other. They slipped their tongues into each other's mouths, taking their time to express their affection for each other.

Safira wrapped her arms around Damien's waist, pulling him just a little closer. Knowing they were going to be parted again ached her heart. So, she wanted to show him just how much she loved him.

Damien felt the same way.

When they finally parted lips, they gazed into each other's eyes. Safira pressed her cheek against Damien's chest. She closed her eyes as she listened to his rhythmic heartbeat synchronizing with her own.
