My heart is so heavy. I feel so broken down that it takes me a minute to process what my father says.

"Keep rain out of this. This is about Reece, will, and i."

"I don't know where I went wrong. I raised you to be different. Now you are fighting over men. I am disgusted to my core," he spits and I close my eyes, feeling tired.

Right. I had forgotten my father wasn't very versed with my lifestyle and my preferences.

"You didn't raise us, you have no right to say that," I grit out but he only laughs.

"Of course, your children will be the ones saying you didn't raise them when the clothes on their backs, food, and all they got to get where they are now came from you," he laughs. "Son, what do you think I did then if I didn't raise you?"
