Kapitel 101: I AM NOT SCARED OF YOU

LIAM

The fall is hard, hitting the ground from the 16th floor.

I roll away, my bones rattling even as my hind leg breaks. I don't feel the pain.

I can't feel the pain because the man who I think hurt my mother is right in front of me.

All I want is to tear him into pieces.

I don't let him get away before I swipe my paw across his abdomen, but he ducks before going for my neck. Teeth gnashing and barred, I move before he clamps on me.

His claws catch on my shoulders, ripping the flesh out as I clamp down on one of his hind legs, hard.

I don't let go, even as he kicks me, and as I let go, his blood and flesh fall off my jaws, as I swipe my claws under his belly, slashing through and he falls.

When he pounces again hitting me right on my chest, I don't let him pin me down, before I overturn, snapping my fangs and jaw shut around his shoulder, pushing him down.
