'Harry! How can you sit here and relax?' Ginny said as soon as she entered the living room. Harry was lying on the couch staring on the ceiling. One would think he was being idle or lazy but only he knew there was a anxiety creeping in his body, in constant thoughts of why Teddy said no last night.
'Harry? Are you even listening to me?' Ginny asked moving to sit in the empty chair near the couch.
'Yes.' He replied still admiring the white ceiling.
'Then why don't you do something?'
He sighed and sat up. 'Ginny I don't know what it is that you and your brother expects me to do but right now I need some time.'
'Are you still upset with what Bill said?' Ginny asked nervously. Last thing she wanted was things to go awry between her husband and her brother. She knew Bill never meant harm to Harry but some of the words that he did say last night weren't too pleasant to the ears.
'Shouldn't I be? An shouldn't you be too?' Harry stared at Ginny and continued, 'Ginny, I get that Bill is upset because he cares a lot about his children, especially his daughter but I care about mine too. And I don't know why Ted did what he did yesterday but Bill absolutely had no right to bring in other kids into this. Hell, he shouldn't have been so mean to you too.'
Last night in between the conversation Bill had gotten so angry that he went as far as to question Harry and Ginny's upbringing pointing out how initially it was James who went the wrong way and now Ted was acting out too. Both the boys were accused of being highly irresponsible when it came to women. When Ginny had tried to defend James and Ted, Bill didn't spare his sister from a taunt too. Which is why Harry for the first time ever since he got married into the Weasley family, raised his voice.
'I know Bill. He did not mean any of it. He was just angry.' Ginny said.
'All of us get angry Ginny but we don't start pointing out at kids in the family, do we?'
'I'm sure once everything is sorted out Bill will apologize.'
'To you, he definitely should.'
'Now tell me what are we going to do about Ted? I called in his grandmother, she said he hadn't returned home last night.' Ginny asked.
'He must've gone to his apartment.' Harry suggested.
'No he didn't. Victoire called, she'd gone to talk to him, he wasn't there either. She wanted to know if you have any idea where he might be.'
'I think I might.' Harry knew exactly where his godson would've gone.

On reaching his intended place, Harry walked around looking everywhere in search of Teddy and finally found him sitting next to his parents graves. The boy had lost his parents too early to even remember their faces but still whenever he was too distraught he would always visit their grave to find some solace. If Teddy was here today, harry could only guess what he must've been going through.
'How long have you been sitting here?' Harry asked and a surprised Teddy looked back.
'Harry!' He stood up from the floor. 'What are you doing here?'
'I should be asking you the same.'
Teddy not being able to avoid Harry's piercing eyes look at his shoes.
'Ted, what is it?'
'Nothing.' Came a reply.
'Look at me.' When Teddy still didn't Harry shouted, 'I said Look at me.' And finally got Teddy's attention. 'Do you think this is a joke?'
'No.'
'Then why the hell did you say no to Vic, last night? Do you know how much she's been crying ever since? Bill went boggers on me for not knowing why you're saying no and your grandmother was worried sick for you not returning the whole night.'
'I'm sorry.'
'Don't apologize to me, apologize to Vic. She's the one whose most hurt out of all of us.'
'I can't marry her.'
Harry closed his eyes for a moment and then opened them again. 'Why not? You've been dating since ten years. I think it's high time you get married. Don't you want to?'
'I....I don't know. I don't know if I can handle being married....I've never been married before....'
'Stop saying nonsense Ted. Do you think I was married before getting married with Ginny? I know there is something you're not telling us. So just spurt it out.'
Teddy knew there was no escape today, so he let out what he was holding back. 'Do you remember we went to Department of Mysteries a year ago?'
Harry nodded, he could never forget it. 'What about it?'
Ted sighed and took out a box from his pocket. 'I bought this that day, before going with you.' He then handed it to Harry, who opened the box and was shocked.
'You bought a ring a year ago?'
'Yes.'
'Then why haven't you proposed yet?' Harry asked in disbelief.
'That day in the Hall of Prophecy, when you were looking for something you didn't tell me about, I thought I'll take a look at my prophecy. It was meant to be just out of curiosity but what it said changed things completely.'
'What did it say?'
'That someone close to me is going to suffer the pain that I escaped.'
A sweat broke on Harry's forehead. That day at the Hall of prophecy, he too found a prophecy similar to teddy's which had said That the person whom the prophecy belonged were going to be punished with worst kind of suffering possible for trying to change the fate of the one who was fated to be doomed.
'I wasn't born with the werewolf genes, I somehow escaped it and now someone I love was going to pay for that. Anyone can take a wild guess it is Vic who's going to suffer on my behalf and I can't let that happen.' Teddy said trying to hold back his tears.
'It's not Victoire.' Harry said in a low voice.
'What? How can you be so sure?' Teddy asked.
Harry looked at him and said, 'Because...........'

Since Ted hadn't come for the training lecture today, Scorpius filled in for him and decided to take a surprise test, which actually turned out a surprise for many as it was a written one, something none of the trainees had expected including Lily.
After the disastrous test was over Lily decided to use it as an excuse to talk to Scorpius who she realized was back to ignoring her after last night's little ice-breaking. She went to the room where Scorpius was busy checking the papers and entered without asking him.
'Hii' She said brightly.
Without looking up from his desk Scorpius replied, 'Miss Potter shouldn't you knock before coming in?'
She blinked a few times. Did he actually called her out for entering without permission. 'But we know each other.'
'Outside yes. But this is the place where we work. Besides, I know your brother well. And I know you through him. That's it.'
Know you through him, the words rang in Lily's ears. So was this his problem that she was Albus's sister. After the way he comforted her with his words last night, she had thought they were past that but maybe she was wrong, she thought.
'You know what? I think you and I need to talk.'
'About what?'
'About last night.'
'What about last night?' Lily was frustrated how he was talking to her but wasn't even looking at her as if she was something insignificant.
'It looked like you cared for me.' That was when he stopped his pen. Lily knew this was her chance to make a crack in his tough exterior. 'The way you treated my wound and talked to me, it looked like you cared.'
He sighed and finally looked up to meet the most beautiful brown eyes he'd ever seen, only expectation in them was killing him for he knew there was no way he could say what she wanted to hear. 'Of course I care. Anyone would care about their best friend's family.'
Lily rolled her eyes. The best friend thing wouldn't let her close the gap between them. 'So you care about your best friend's family?'
'Yes.'
'Does that include James too?'
Scorpius nodded hesitantly and Lily scoffed. 'Don't bullshit me. Everyone knows how much you and James detest each other.'
'If you're here to know if I care about James or not, I think you should leave. I have much important work to do.' Scorpius said trying to put on the best straight face he could pull.
Lily knew the walls were up again and breaking into these would not be easy. So she decided to call it quits for the day. Just when she was about to leave the door to the room opened and Albus and Rose entered.
Albus looked at Lily with surprise and asked, 'What are you doing here?'
'I train here. Did you forget already?' Lily snapped.
'What's with the mood? I was just asking.' Albus was taken aback.
Thankfully Scorpius intervened, 'She was here to know how she did on the test and I told her she'll have to wait till tomorrow to know that, so she's pissed.' He then turned to Lily, 'Sorry Lily but you've to wait till tomorrow like everyone else.'
'Sure.' Lily said and went out the door. How dense someone can be? Why was he so clueless that she liked him? Or did he knew but was still pretending like Hugo had suggested. Lily's mind was filled with questions, answers to which she still had to find.
She walked to the locker room and took out her clothes to get changed.
'I would suggest you wear something different.' A voice came from behind and Lily turned immediately.
'Rose! You scared the shit out of me.' Lily kept a hand to calm down her heart.
'Sorry for that. But I thought you could use some help.'
'Help? In what?'
'Trying to get Scorpius to accept his feeling for you.' Lily blinked several time trying to process what her cousin had just said.
'I'm sorry what?'
'Lily the guy likes you. And I know you've been trying to get his attention for some years now.'
'Which I've failed clearly.' Lily said and sighed.
'Because you asked for help from two people who absolutely know nothing about wooing. Seriously, did you actually think you could get advice from Ted and Hugo.' Rose rolled her eyes.
'Well you were kind of busy so....'
Rose waved a hand and stopped Lily from saying any further. 'Now I'm absolutely free and am going to help you.'
'So what do I do first?'
'Do you have anything else to wear?' Lily shook her head which made Rose open her bag. Brushes, make-up, water, sandwich, books, files and every possible thing Rose used in her daily life emerged from the bag.
'Did you fit in your entire house in this?' Lily asked shocked.
'Only if I could.' Rose, when finally found the item that she was looking for, took it out and handed it over to Lily. 'Here. Wear this.' And Lily did as she asked.
The lavender color complemented her complexion and it being off shoulder dress, Lily's shoulders were highlighted well. It came to her mid-thigh which was obviously showed legs which made Lily say, 'I think it's too revealing.'
'Nah. I don't think so. It isn't a body fit so it doesn't look like you're going to a club.'
'Then where does it look like I'm going?'
'On a date.'
'With whom?'
'Leave that on me.' Rose smiled mischievously.
Rose walked out the locker room and met Albus and Scorpius near the parking.
'Where were you? We're going to be late for the game.' Albus said annoyed. It was Quidditch league's final match today and they'd decided to watch it in the stadium together.
'We've still got time. Beside Lily needed a little help.' Rose answered.
'In what?'
'In getting ready.'
'Don't tell me she's getting ready for the quidditch game. I mean why do girls have to get ready for everything....' And then he stopped mid-sentence when he spotted Lily. 'What the hell! Why is she dressed like that?'
Albus's remark made Scorpius turn his head to look what he was looking at and as soon as he saw Lily his breath hitched. The way she looked right now, it made it even more difficult for him to think her as his best friend's sister.
Rose who was looking at his reaction felt proud. She knew Lily needed help and she succeeded in helping her out. And now it was time for the second attack.
'She had to go on a date, so I thought I'd help.' Rose said casually.
The word 'Date' made both of Albus's and Scorpius's heads turn towards her. She looked at them and shrugged. 'She's nineteen, I think too young to celibate. She needs to go out too.'
'I don't think so.' Albus said.
'Good that no one's asking you.' Rose said and just then Lily walked over and passed by them swiftly, waving goodbye to Rose and ignoring boys, both of whom looked pissed.
Mission successful, Lily thought. Only did Lily know that Rose's plan didn't end there for when her cousin get's down to do something she never settles until she achieves what she had set out to archive.
I told you you'll go on a date so I will send you on a date, Rose thought to herself and smiled.
