Kapitel 58: O Destined One

Cao Tai POV

As she emerges from the bush, her melody flowing smoothly with mine directing me where to go. If she was the current, I'd be the water.

She was unlike the other Foxen I've seen, rich blond hair, while the others had light brown hair at the lightest, and even then that was rare, it was much more common to see them with dark brown or black hair.

I wouldn't even believe that she was from around here if it wasn't for her cat-like ears at the top of her head, twitching every once in a while.

Her body faintly resembled Sasha, roughly 5 foot 9, lithe hips, clearly meant for agility, decently proportioned thighs, and unlike Sasha, D cup breasts, I sense that this will cause quite a bit of grievances from Sasha considering they were about that large in her last life. And if her thigh slit dress wasn't obscuring it, I would probably be able to see her faint 6 pack. [I wanted to say abdominal muscle, but I feel like you would make fun of me…]

When she finishes her soft song, she stops where she was standing, staring at me, like I was someone she knew, did I know her? I don't think so...

"Hello, I'm Cao Tai, I've heard from a seer that in a land where heather blooms I'll find my true love. Unfortunately, I've not found any heather, but I think I've found my true love. Whats your name? Fair Maiden?" I say, trying not to choke on my epic speech.

Ow, I thought I did perfectly! "Greetings, destined one, I am Benzaiten," Benzaiten says, wow, she should really join an orchestra.

I nod, "OK, O Destined One, Benzaiten. The are stories about you from a village nearby, and warnings about you, as well as rewards, whether they are warning me of you or not, I must ask; Why you live in this clearing?" I ask, my curiosity taking the best of me.

'Ready for the order, Cao Tai' Sasha sends via the mental link, well at least we've got someone to knock her out in case things go south. 'Sasha, wait for me to clap, then go in to knock her out or whatever you're planning.'

She responds by simply saying, "You have the right to be wary, but those notices have been there for over 20 years, this isn't a new thing, it may have been reposted every time someone failed however," She says, starting to think about it, I wonder how long it's been since the last person tried.

"Which was roughly... one and a half months ago?" I think Benzaiten asks, "Yep, around that time, funny guy, he waved this sword and tried to make me give up," She chuckles softly and puts an arm over her mouth to mask her smile, I felt the irresistible urge to laugh as well, but I decided that maybe I could take initiative, "Interesting, and if I was here to bring you back to the village?" I ask, I highly she would be cooperative but once can always try.

"Well, then I would have to resist, since the village heads want my head..." Benzaiten begins, but I just clap my hands, "Well that finishes our business, see you soon, sister," I say, and Sasha raises from behind Benzaiten like a chameleon tossing her camouflage away. Swiping at the young lady's neck, she falls limp into Sasha's awaiting arms, catching her before she hits the ground.

I whistle softly, "Not bad Sasha, I'd consider you to be a ninja if you were still kind of looking discreet," I say she grins at me, "You're carrying her right?" She says, she wasn't even asking, she was simply stating.

When we return, Violet still wasn't home. I wonder what she was doing, I shrug and guide Sasha to help me carry the sleeping Benzaiten to my room and place her on my bed.

For someone who seemed to have a trouble past, she didn't have any haunted nightmares...

Well that sucks, but I guess it kind of helpful because I can direct that giant sum of money towards training Sasha. 'System, use it on training Sasha to become a better shadow,' I send.

<OK, that will cost 300 Dollars however, are you willing to pay that amount?>

I suck in my breath before affirming, <OK, her training shall begin tonight>

I tell Sasha what will happen before sitting on the edge of my bed watching Benzaiten, we'll have a conversation once she wakes up.
