Kapitel 61: Another Soul Contract?

Cao Tai POV

It was starting to get dark and I started to have trouble shooting so this time, Violet excuses me from my practice.

I don't think it works like that, I think it's time to put some restraints onto her habits of harassing me.

Oh! And I forgot to mention to her that Benzaiten is in my room, and I take back my decision to sleep in her room, I think I'll sleep in Lantla's.

Maybe, hopefully, I'll even sleep tonight! Because there is no way I'm training tonight.

Yes, I would like to relax for one night, maybe I'll see Sasha practicing to see how hard she works.

As I walk back to enter the 1 floored house, I see Lantla now sitting at the edge of the bed, seemingly interested in her palms or something, was she doing something? Well even if she is, I don't have anything funny I could accuse her of.

Actually that sounds like an excellent idea! So ingenious the wattage of this idea would've fried the bulb! [I don't know why I had to add that but I think its cool]

Before the System could say that it was a stupid and dangerous idea I call on Lantla. "Hey Lantla! I know that you want a Soul Contract! Tell you what, I'll do the deed if you do two small favors for me, are you up for it?" I ask, I mean it is time for her to get that Soul Contract considering she has been with us for like... a month, maybe two..?

Lantla looks up immediately, "What do you want me to do!?" She practically yells.

"First, be quiet and follow me," I say, turning and walking away, since I already know that she would be following me. Guiding her to my room assuming that she is thinking that it involves sex, well not this time, Lantla.

I open the door to my room and see an angry Benzaiten just sitting at the edge of the bed. I point to her and say, "I need a Leech to eat her," I say.

"Uh… why?" She asks, "Reasons, now do you want to have a Soul Contract or not?" I say, growing nervous that my foolproof plan would fail.

"Nono… I'll do it" She says, closing her eyes and a circle appears in front of her, it had four petals which were wide open and in the middle, a three foot deep hole, "Just put her here and it will activate," Lantla says, wiping a little sweat off her head.

I walk over to Benzaiten and pin her down, quickly cutting all of the threads I made earlier.

"Sorry, but I need all the truth, so only when you tell me all the truth, and nothing but the truth, you'll be free," I whisper into Benzaiten's ear, before lifting her up.

Of course, it would've been a walk in the park if she wasn't squirming so much, I mean it was like I was trying to get a grip on a fish! I mean that was before Lantla gripped her by the knees, her eyes looking into Benzaiten's soul, "Nobody gets in Cao Tai's way," She says, her eyes flaring red, dang. Now I feel bad for the poor soul, I can't stand it when she looks at me like that.

Together, we successfully haul her into the Leech and it gobbles her, and since I didn't want to hear Benzaiten's cries, I quickly excuse myself from the room. I'll be waiting for Lantla in her room, for the second requirement.

Once I shut the door behind me, I walk into Lantla's room, expand the bed so it could accommodate the both of us, and then jump on it.

"Here is your final requirement, Lantla. You must learn to control yourself, and to see if you can, and since I don't have a bed at the moment. I've decided that I shall test you personally," I say once Lantla enters the room.

Still not sure of what I mean, but eager to get a Soul Contract, she nods and lies on my bed, "Very well, Cao Tai~" She says, quickly laying down, and once more closes her eyes and another circle opens, "The challenge is to not do anything clingy, such as chaining me to the bed, or using any vines on me," I finish.

She looks considerably more upset but still nods in affirmation, laying down next to me pulling up the sheets. Looks like someone will be getting a Soul Contract.
