In the year 2072, the first Oracle descended on planet Earth. This Oracle foresaw certain disasters which had an accuracy of 90%. After confirming that the power of the Oracle was legitimate, the leaders of the world convened an important meeting. It was decided that this Oracle was to be locked up and used to foresee important events that would affect the fate of humanity.
In the year 2090, this Oracle had a vision. In this vision was a world set ablaze. Screams of horror, towers of fire, bodies strewn about... The Oracle passed on while screaming and writhing in his chains.
That same year, another Oracle descended. This time, instead of publicly announcing his visions, he silently prepared for the end... The coming of the Apocalypse.

Year 2108... United Terran Confederation Capital...
"Are you sure this is safe, Dad?" Dorian couldn't help but ask once again as he laid down in the capsule like chamber.
"Yep. It's absolutely safe. You wouldn't be using it if it weren't." James Wright, Dorian's father replied from behind a wall of books.
The both of them were currently in the basement of their home, testing out the new Gaming Capsule James had just finished modifying. As a renowned scientist who had made numerous positive breakthroughs for the sake of Humanity, James Wright was highly regarded. Something as simple as modifying a gaming capsule was beyond him, but he had no choice but to modify this one just for his son.
James ran a hand through his messy brown hair, the type that didn't stay put no matter how much you combed it down. He walked around the wall of books and shot a bright grin towards Dorian. Dorian returned the smile, running a hand through his similarly messy brown hair, one of the resemblances he had with his father.
"That should be it. We'll just test it out before we take it back to your room. Put it on." James waved and dropped a spanner of some sort down. Dorian nodded before hitting a button on the inside of the Capsule. Two metal sheets with a plastic screen that let someone on the outside see the inside of the capsule gradually closed over Dorian with a low hum.
Dorian watched as his father checked on his vitals and whatnot before starting up the Capsule from the outside. A Capsule needed two people to put in on fully. One on the inside and one on the outside. This was to prevent any accidents from occurring. Like maybe a case of an infant accidentally sealing itself inside a Capsule.
"What are you waiting for? Let's get this thing rolling!" Dorian yelled from the inside. James just smiled at Dorian and shook his head.
"Take care, son. I'll see you later." James pushed the right buttons on the outside and watched as the Capsule powered up. "I hope so..." He whispered, his smile faltering.
A sleek shiny helmet made of delicate but firm materials slid over Dorian's head. It connected to his neural network, linking him up to its functions. Just as Dorian was expecting the Virtual Reality game to load up, a cold mechanical voice spoke out in the Capsule.
[Cryo-sleep Pod activated. Cryo-stasis process shall begin in ten seconds.]
Dorian's eyes grew wide like saucers as he punched in the button to open the Capsule repeatedly. Nothing happened as the seconds seemed to tick by slowly. He looked up, just to see his father smiling sadly at him.
"I'll see you later, Kiddo. I'll tell you all the stories you want..." His father's voice trailed off as a strong sedative was pumped through his body. His eyelids lulled and his muscles went slack.
"Ah..." His yell turned into a drawn out groan as he lost his consciousness in the span of less than five seconds.
As soon as his son lost consciousness, James's face became stiff and stern, and he gave off a vibe of a cold and strict person. He turned around, weaving through the stacks of books and papers in the room until he got to a rather nondescript wall. He felt around for a bit before pressing his palm on against the surface. A green light flashed beneath his palm before a panel gave way to a retina scanner.
After scanning, he stepped back and watched as the ground vibrated and started lowering. Under his house was a secret bunker he had built secretly, not even the government knew about it.
Upon getting there, he immediately walked to the second Cryo-sleep Capsule and got in. He watched as Dorian's Capsule descended beside his before hitting the start-up button inside his Capsule. Unlike Dorian's, he could start it up from the inside.
Just as it finished closing up, the earth gave a massive rumble and stacks of paper flew about everywhere. Dust shook from the ceiling, and tiny bits of stone dropped down, making James curse lowly. He had done his best to reinforce the house, but there was a limit to what he could do without alarming the authorities.
"It has begun..." His eyes went unfocused for a moment, and for the last time, he looked upon his son's Capsule. "I hope I get the chance to meet you again..."
As the sedative worked its way through his body, the last thing he saw was the shaking roof of the basement.
