Kapitel 127: The Sword Saint Festival 6, The Storm Arrive'th

"Whadya want, perv?"

Mitsuna asked the man she had just dropkicked away.

Getting into her stance while placing her left hand on her sword, she waited for a response.

"Urgh."

The man whose legs had left two trails in the stone ground groaned as he cleaned his forearms of dust before holding his right arm in slight pain.

Letting out a sigh as he clenched his fist a few times, he spoke.

"It is rude to attack an individual for a simple greeting, no?"

"Says the guy who watched me sleep."

Mitsuna spoke with slightly narrowed eyes.

"Fair. Fair statement, I think."

The man replied while scratching his cheek.

"So I'll ask again. Whadya want?"

"I wish to apologize for my behaviour on that particular day."

The man said while bowing his head down.

"Apology accepted. You can go now."

"I heard that you were given the opportunity to press charges and that you did not. For that, I thank you as well."

The man's bow deepened.

"No problem. You can go now."

"I am deeply grateful for you since if you had pressed charges in that situation, the probability of a large amount of trouble showing up would have increased for me and my comrades."

The man's head reached the floor but his legs stayed straight.

'How is he so flexible.'

"It's Fine. You can Go."

"My father has taught me that whenever a woman says that something is 'Fine' it is most often not."

The man did not budge from his place.

'How fancy does my speech need to be with this dude?'

"I accept your apology and gratitude. Go away."

Mitsuna shooed the man away while walking through the crowd that had gathered to watch the spectacle.

"Move."

She spoke to the people that were in her way while looking up at their faces with a glint in her eye, they immediately dispersed.

'See? It works for them.'

The man raised his head and looked in the direction of Mitsuna's shrinking back.

The man adjusted the golden crown on his head of long pink hair, dusted himself off and started walking in the same direction.

'Damn. I knew this was going to be a bad day.'

Just as she thought this, she felt something hit the back of her head.

Looking back, it was a glove thrown by the very same man who had bowed to her a moment ago.

"I would like to challenge thee to a duel."

'Is this guy bipolar?'

Mitsuna asked herself while raising an eyebrow in annoyance.

"I believe that landing a sneak attack on someone who has come with no intention to fight is despicable."

"No? I won't?"

Mitsuna then saw the man take off his other glove and throw it in her face.

'You talk about despicable and then throw a glove at a girl's face?'

"I hope you reconsider."

Mitsuna let out an annoyed sigh.

The people in the surroundings started talking.

Small whispers of an early final, a duel taking place on the streets, finally having some new content and some lovers' quarrel were making their way around.

The last of those was the one to make the most rounds among the public.

"I still refuse. A third glove won't help either."

Mitsuna added the last part as she saw the man reach into his pocket.

"Listen," Mitsuna looked towards the participants in the finals before looking back, "We're both in the finals anyway. If you wanna fight, we can do it there."

"Ah. I understand and agree to those terms."

The man then took his leave.

'What a weird dude.'

The man was rather tall, nearly 180cm. His body was muscular and his hair was long enough to reach his lower back and coloured pink. The golden crown on his head had no embroidery or any gems while he also had the mask of a wild boar covering the upper half of his face.

'Cosplay looking twerp. Won't even apologize.'

Mitsuna turned around and went to sit on a different bench, where she proceeded to sleep for exactly 27 minutes as the finals started and all the Generals were brought to the teleporter.

Mitsuna was the first to enter as she just pushed her way in front of the cue.

She didn't want to end up buried in sand again.

Most of the people around her seemed boring so she didn't really care about their opinions of her.

As she was about to enter, she heard slight pushing from behind her, ignoring it she stepped through.

Finding herself back in the desert that smelled of iron, she took in the scenery and silence of the place before looking back to see the pink haired man arrive second.

'Should have expected it.'

"So you wanna start now?"

Before the man could answer, the rest of the Generals arrived.

Most of them started talking about how rudeness won't get you far and how being polite is a virtue or something.

Nevertheless, everyone was there and the announcer gave the go ahead.

Mitsuna immediately cut down 4 people that were standing next to her before turning to the man, expecting him to do the same so that they could duel like he wanted.

Yet he did not.

Instead, he jumped back. Away from the group of 9 others that were basically surrounding him.

'Can he not take them on?'

Mitsuna soon got her answer though.

Something like a... meteor landed in the middle of the group.

Two of the people who stood within the group had their heads squashed.

The rest of them were blown away by the shockwave.

Mitsuna protected her eyes from the sand.

From in between the gap of her fingers, she saw the intruder.

Tall and lean yet oddly muscular. He wore a plain black shirt and purple pants that were held up by purple suspenders. On his head was a cap the same colour as his pants.

The man had a grin right below his violent looking moustache. His eyes were black, the same colour as his medium length hair. The man also had bags under his eyes though he didn't seem tired in the slightest.

Instead, he looked excited, elated even.

'Who the f*ck?'

A light cackle sounded out.
