Kapitel 101: Waking Gillian (2)

Miriam didn't waste any time. She started muttering words that sounded a lot like gibberish because I couldn't hear any word she was uttering. Loretta and Katana were standing in a corner watching the whole scene unfold before their eyes.

No, I couldn't die so soon. I refused to accept my body being taken by a woman who hurt and killed my mother when she was most vulnerable. My hands were tied though.

No matter how hard I tried to twist my body, I couldn't get free. 

"Help! Someone help me, please! " I screamed but no matter how loud my voice was, no one came.

Miriam didn't flinch. She was religiously saying her words without faltering. At the corner of my eyes, I spotted Katana go pale and lifeless. She fell to the ground with her eyes wide open as Zeus smirked.
