"It will." He smiled at her and gently caressed her hair. "How about we go again when you and she have calmed down? I'm just sure you both would have thought deeply about it."
Layana lifted her head and looked at him. "That would be okay. But... I doubt she would still want to see me."
"I doubt she would dislike you forever." Adrik chuckled. "You just have to let her see the good side of you."
