Kapitel 58: Ch.13

After a week I decided it was time and called everyone who wanted to see he'll be destroyed together. Matt asked if I was sure and I looked to the lake of holy oil I'd prepared before saying. "Yes, it's time."

I put up the barrier and watched him ring it eleven times. I felt Cade trying to come over as he sensed what was about to happen and couldn't help but smile. As soon as he rang it the twelfth time I teleported him away and grabbed the bell as hellfire consumed me.

It was way hotter than before and had the added bonus of being directed to Cade's will, directly into me. I let out a roar of agony as my body was forged once more in hellfire. I started the process of absorbing hell itself as it became a battle of wills between myself and Cade.

Our psychic power clashed as I took it from him with overwhelming force. His will faded as he tried to flee but with his connection to the hell dimension he would die with it as I consumed it all. I spared a thought to send Matt's ancestor out before crushing the rest without mercy.

Screams of agony suffused my mind as I relived their torments while destroying them all and taking in the hundreds of millions of souls inside. A cycle formed of constant destruction and absorbing. It lasted for a month before the hellfire dissipated and hell itself finally collapsed.

When I lowered the barrier my skin was blackened and not just from the hellfire either. Dark and evil energies collided and fought inside me to take over. I'd consumed all the evil they'd done along with their souls and realized the holy oil lake I had wouldn't be enough.

I dived in as unrelenting agony was all I felt. Time became inconsequential as I'd lost all understanding of it. So much evil and yet when the lake was reduced to tar that too burned up in black smoke before I realized it and I summoned more holy oil from my ring.

I must've refilled it half a dozen times before my skin returned to normal. There was simply no escaping the agony as my mind had been forced to stay conscious by all the psychic energy I'd taken in.

No relief yet even now as I filled it one last time with the last of the holy oil I had. When it finally was reduced to tar my hair and eyes were clear once more as the last of the evil energy was cleansed.

I crawled out of the muck and headed to the house. I felt Lexi inside there as I entered naked. The group was all gathered as she'd called them their. I walked past them without a word and headed to the shower.

When I came back down dressed again I asked. "How long?"

Lexi sighed. "Three years. A lot has happened and there's some things you need to know."

I growled before sitting down and pulling her into my lap. Stefan spoke first. "Caroline and I are married."

I turned to them and nodded. "Congratulations."

Jo spoke up next. "The girls are doing fine and we have another on the way if you can't tell. I went ahead with the merge and won. I'm the new leader of the Gemini coven."

I sighed. "I'd congratulate you but you probably don't exactly feel to good about the position."

She shrugged and Alaric spoke up. "We're starting a special school for the kids and any other supernatural kids out there. We wanted to get your help on setting it up when you get a chance."

I nodded. "I'll see what I can do."

Damon and Elena looked at each other before nodded and Elena told us. "Damon and I are getting married. And we were wondering if your offer to make us human was for both of us? We'd like to start a family."

I smiled genuinely now. "Of course. Give me a month or two to adjust the new power and bring it under control. I've had to seal it as it's far more than I've ever taken in at once. It'll take time but once it's dealt with I'll take away your vampirism and heal you both."

Jeremy has come back clearly as he spoke up. "Katherine got Oscar to drain the magic of the cure from her body and turn her back into a vampire."

I grunted. "Win som you loose some."

Enzo spoke up next to Bonnie now. "I've been found if it's not that clear to you yet. I'd like to thank you for bringing me back as well. I know my death was deserved as I wasn't in my right mind but you didn't have to yet you did it anyway so thanks mate."

I chuckled and told him. "You're a Salvatore after all, and I couldn't exactly leave someone who'd gone through all that only to die in the end to stay dead or worse so think nothing of it."

Bonnie spoke up next. "Enzo and I are together now."

My smile widened. "I'm happy for you Bonnie. I know destroying the other side hurt you because of your grams and I'd like to say she's in a better place but I just don't know. If it helps any she wasn't in hell. Though Julian, Mikael and several other dicks from our past were. A lot of the witches I'd let free were as well. They were steeped in evil and black magic's to the core so I didn't spare them a second time."

Caroline spoke up now. "There's something you need to know though. Klaus and the rest were attacked by their sire lines. They managed to unlink Klaus's sire line and Marcel became a super vampire or whatever. They've been run out of New Orleans and are being hunted. Some women named Freya said she could really use your help when you get out of your own mess."

I grunted and stood. "Then I'd best get to it. I guess now is as good of a time as any to begin meditating. When I awaken I'll help them. Until then I guess I'll talk to you all later."

I headed to the basement where I went into a deep meditative trance and began fusing all the power is attained. Once again the essence was far more than the magic and I used it to my advantage.

I had a hundred stars when I finished adjusting it all. My power was absolute and I couldn't yet tell how strong a god I was. I knew I wasn't yet beyond a regular God's strength but I also knew I couldn't access all fifty available stars without destroying this reality in an instant.

It was simply to much power to harness at once. Cade only had access to their psychic energies and while my own had advanced to near Phoenix mode Jean gray levels, it wasn't nearly as strong as my magic.

It took a little over a month to tame all fifty stars one at a time. Then I refined the essence down repeatedly. I had way more essence sparks than I'd imagined. I guess several hundred million souls worth of energy did make one a god as well.

It was so much that my divine grade sparks became a forest fire. I'd never felt more alive then when I finished refining them all and combined them. I could feel all life on the planet as their souls called to me. I could hear their prayers and knew that if they prayed to me I could siphon off a little of that energy each time.

I reigned the feeling in and set it aside as I stood from my second month of meditation and grabbed another shower. I put away the last of the six fully charged super diamonds and headed to see Lexi. We teleported to where I felt Freya was.

There we found Hayley, Freya and an old werewolf lady. The old lady grabbed her shot gun while Freya told her. "That's not necessary, he's family."

I sighed. "I'm sorry I'm late but taking on hell itself was a task I wasn't entirely as prepared for as I thought. A lot of evil and black magic. Pain beyond what words can describe as well."

Hayley sighed. "We've almost got what we need to bring them back."

I looked to the coffins in the storage truck outside. "Where's Niklaus?"

Hayley sighed. "Marcel has him locked up and tortured him to show his dominance."

I growled as my skin crawled. I turned to the door. "No need to worry about a cure now. I'll revive them and heal them now. Then we will take back the compound and slaughter all those who harmed the family."

The old wolf asked. "Yeah? You and what army?"

I growled as I fought the shift while looking at her and sneering. "I eat armies little wolf. No army can stand up against my power."

The entire world shook at my words as I turned and headed outside to the cargo van. I removed the daggers and stripped away the magic's harming them all before reviving them. When they saw me Finn spoke. "Where's sage?"

I closed my eyes before saying. "I'm a cage in New Orleans she's desiccated and weak."

He growled as did they all. I looked over Rebekah and Elijah before sighing. "I'll deal with it. You three go help Hayley and Freya pack up. We're going back to New Orleans and taking the city by force. Lexi is taking care of Hope right now and will watch over her until the city is ours before bringing her. You have my word no enemies of your family will survive this mess. They will all die screaming."

I walked out of the truck and teleported to Niklaus. He had a barrier spell around him and was desiccated. I shattered the barrier as I walked through it and summoned a bag of blood from my ring, popping it into his mouth as he opened his eyes weakly.

I growled. "I've just come out of my own hell. It's time we get you out of yours. I will slaughter those that helped your enemies and help you take back this city. I just came from healing the others and now it's your turn."

He nodded weakly. "Dagger in my chest."

I looked at the wound he was talking about and shoved my hand inside, pulling out the Tunde blade. I hit him with an extra sting healing spell and he breathed easy now as he was no longer in pain or desiccated.

I helped him up as he asked. "What was hell like?"

I grimaced. "How about I not ask about your hell and you not ask about mine. Three years feeling the torture of millions of souls that lasted four thousand years in my own mind is all I will say."

He grimaced now and I teleported us to the house where the rest were gathered. When he saw how big Hope had become he cried right then and there. Sighing I told them. "We're going now. Leave Marcel to me, I've my own punishment in mind for him. The rest you can kill at your leisure. If you get tired or bored of the slaughter just say so as I've some issues of my own I need to work through."

Klaus said goodbye to Hope before we teleported away leaving her with Lexi and the old wolf. We teleported into a gathering of vampires that were celebrating Klaus's downfall and that of the original family.

Nik spoke up over the cheers. "I predict you're all going to be a bit disappointed in my being back then seeing as how you're all happy now."

Everyone went dead silent as they looked at us. I saw Marcel who spoke up. "I see, Kol was it you who let him out?"

I sighed and shook my head. "That's no longer my name. But like that name you'll all be dead and buried soon enough."

I teleported to his side and snapped his neck before throwing up a massive barrier around the premises. "Now then, Niklaus, I promised you all a massacre. Or slaughter to be more precise. They cannot leave the compound so have at it, I know I will."

I shifted into my hideous and terrifying vampire form before going into a blood frenzy and tearing those closest to me apart. I didn't come out of it until my former siblings managed to snap my neck after the places was littered in dismembered bodies. I may have fed a bit too hard but I sure as hell enjoyed it. There wasn't a drop around except for the bleeding Marcel on the ground when I woke up.

They'd chained him up and drained him to weaken him. It'd taken all three of them plus Freya to restrain and break my neck as I was far tougher than before and even then they'd barely been strong enough to actually physically do it.

When my head cleared I stood up and dampened my senses. Burping rudely I had apparently shifted back while temporarily dead. I was only half naked though as the wings tore my shirt. Marcel asked weakly. "What are you?"

I chuckled. "I'm complicated, but let's not talk about me right now. Let's talk about you."

I walked over to him and healed his wounds before saying. "Don't even try to resist, I can end you as easily as I ended so many of your followers."

He spoke more clearly now. "What do you want? You want the city? Take it!"

I shook my head. "No, no. You misunderstand me. I could care less about this city. No, I'm here because while I have denied my heritage for so long, they are my family in the end, come what may."

My words brought smiles to their faces while I continued. "And while adopted as you were, you are still family in the end. My nephew to be exact. So, what I'm going to do to you, you can rest assured, you'll survive. After all, family members that hurt each other deserve a little punishment."

I grabbed him by the throat and brought him to eye level while draining all the magic from his system. Just as he was about to die I slammed a massive healing spell into him.

I dropped him on the ground saying. "Like me you've denied your connection to this family. And while I do agree family isn't just a choice, or who you were born into, you have done more harm to this family than even Niklaus or Esther as in your petty greedy little way you nearly destroyed it. So I'm releasing you from all that bind you to this family. They built this city, and while you may have taken it over, you did not respect that. Niklaus made you immortal, and again you did not respect that. Each time you wanted more you took it from this family and so I'm taking it back. Congratulations, you're human again."

I snapped my fingers and the chains released him. "Leave this city and never return. There is nothing for you here any more. If you set foot in this city again the spell that healed you will reverse and end your life. You have until sun up to get out."

I turned and looked at my siblings saying. "You are as they say, even with him now. He is no longer a threat."

Hayley spoke up. "The wolves in the bayou, they're cursed to be wolves all the time now. It was how they won so easily."

I sighed. "I guess I can pay them a visit and fix them while the moon is full. After that I'll deal with the witches. You're free to kill any vampires or witches as you please. I'll take care of the rest."

I turned to the bodies and willed my plants into action. The courtyard was cleaned in under a minute and I teleported to the bayou. After reversing the spell I told them to head to the compound for their rings and that I'd deliver them as long as they were still loyal with an added protection against such curses.

After that I teleported into the heart of the ancestor's power, the cemetery. There I placed my hands on the altar to the protest of the witches there and drained the ancestors magic's. All of them fought but I continued to destroy them and take it all as their little afterlife realm was absorbed into my own power.

My eyes and hair were black once more but their realm had collapsed and with it all the witches in New Orleans that practiced ancestral magic lost their powers. Thousands of witches would be pissed in the morning but I could give a shit.

I teleported all around New Orleans taking their magical artifacts and anything with more power than a crystal ball. When I finished I took the dark artifacts the human faction had and all those that Davina Claire was hiding as well.

I left them with no power bases or magic except for what they had by nature. And since most of them hadn't practiced other magic's they were shot out of luck. I did feel the hollow but it fled from my senses into the bayou.

I didn't give chase as it meant nothing to me. I could swallow her essence and magic in one gulp and from they way she acted, she knew it. I headed back to the compound where Niklaus and the rest were. They'd certainly gone out of their way to kill the last of the vampires. Bodies lay everywhere as if another massacre had occurred.

The wolves were just arriving so I mulched the dead before making a bunch of moonlight rings for an hour. They each pledged their loyalty once more and I gave them their rings before saying. "You've willingly pledged your loyalty to this family and to the protection of Hope Mikaelson. These rings will bind you to your service and protect you from spells like the one that turned you into wolves permanently. So long as you are loyal you will reap the benefits. You're free to take them off and leave at any time. Now, it's time I go get my mate and the little princess."

I teleported to the farm house and brought them back with the old wolf and all their stuff. We appeared in the courtyard and Lexi passed Hope to Klaus who needed his daughter at the moment.

I summoned the map and list of enemies, happy to see that Tyler was no longer on it nor anyone I cared about. I supercharged the spell and several dozen more names popped up including Inadu, the hollow.

I gave the list to Elijah saying. "There is no longer a way to hide from the list or map. Feel free to kill them at your leisure. If any give you trouble call upon me."

I turned to Hope and Niklaus who was holding her. Smiling I told him. "Your ban from Mystic Falls is lifted. If you so choose you may return to live there provided you don't break that pesky rule."

He smiled brighter before shaking his head. "My place is here, as is yours if you'd like."

I stilled before shaking my head. "I've taken destroyed the ancestors the witches of New Orleans draw power from so they shouldn't bother you until they find a way to use natural magic or rebuild the ancestral magic. What I'm keeping safe in Mystic Falls cannot come here as they would tap into it and be much to powerful for you all to deal with. It's best I stay there for now."

Lexi told him. "Alaric Saltzman has twin witch siphoner daughters. He's building a school for supernatural children to go and learn. A place where they can be themselves. If you'd like, it would be a great place where Hope can go and be herself. She can make friends there and not have to worry about being different or feeling like she's alone amongst her age group."

He nodded. "When she's older and ready I think that sounds like a lovely place for her to learn and grow into herself. I should think I'll make a donation-"

I shook my head. "Don't bother, I intend to fund it and have it running for the next thousand years. Save your money to treat her like the princess she is and perhaps have some siblings join her."

He was a bit at a loss for words but nodded all the same. Cami, the love of his life here was dead and the only other woman he fancied was Caroline who was married to Stefan.

I tossed Rebekah the cure saying. "If you decide to take it, it'll turn you human once more. Be warned as vampire blood will no longer heal you or turn you. And if you're bitten the vampire that bites you will be cured while you will rapidly age and die. If you decide against it, might I suggest fire. It would be destroyed easily from that."

Sighing we gave our goodbyes and teleported home. There we settled in for the long haul while I helped turn the Salvatore boarding school back into an actual school. Stefan has moved out a while back and Damon bought a place for himself and Elena across town. They donated it to the cause and I thanked them by healing them both and making them human again.

They got married not long after that and I spent my next summer warding the school beyond anything I'd ever done before. In the end I decided to place the world seed in the basement after digging up the vampire there and burning him alive.

Lexi and I spent the next decade teaching there at the school and helping young supernaturally inclined kids adjust. I made Damn sure triad industries was shut down and after the second problem child Alaric and I agreed as we were forced to have Josie and Lizzy help Bonnie to make another ascendant for the psychotic and sociopathic kids that come looking to blend in and get our stamps of approval.

I was actually looking forwards to it as it marked the last thing I needed of my list. I watched them make it and figured it out for myself. I went in after it was made with the first two problem kids. After draining the world of its magical and material resources I took my pack I had full of charges diamonds and resources that had now doubled and left them there.

When I came back I had a deep grin on my face as I had eaten the world seed in that prison world and it was now inside my consciousness it was in the center of my stars now as all one hundred circled it. It gave off magic feeding and slowly forming new stars.

I felt giddy at the prospect as I no longer needed to fear recharging my magic. It naturally did so at greater speeds than even my old body did. I didn't even have to absorb it from the environment as it came directly from the seed.

The bag of resources came with the rings as well. Lexi and I had left them in our basement where they were then duplicated with the bag and all the resources in them. The new ones contained jets and far more advanced technology as I'd well and truly emptied out that entire world except Mystic Falls again.

There was no hell or other side there as it had been created after I'd destroyed them. It was also linked to the student's lives so they could not truly die there. An eternal prison for all intents and purposes.

After emptying all but the cash and some gold out of the bag I left it to Alaric with the rings full of food and spare materials for school. All the books on magic filled the library while the bag and rings were put in a safe he had me install and ward.

The food was in stasis spells so they would never go bad and he had enough to literally last a thousand lifetimes. The cash alone would see them through it all as they were officially the richest school ever. The cash from this world was slightly different so we couldn't take it with us anyway. So there they had two worlds worth of cash stockpiled and eventually put into the banks all across the globe to fund similar schools.

I wasn't too stingy with the magical artifacts either as while they were powerful in their own right, I didn't need them and could make my own. They were split between the school, Bonnie, the Mikaelson's and Bree whom Lexi insisted I leave some to.

The Hollow has been destroyed years ago so with no more real enemies my old family knew piece. While Marcel's name never came off that list he remained mortal and never made a move against us.

I scried him every now and then to amuse myself and found him living the hard life in Brooklyn. It wasn't until Landon and Rafael were retrieved and brought to the office that I was notified and summoned from class.

There I found Hope who'd been my student since she accidentally killed a human in a mood swing and activated her werewolf genes. I'd taught her control and over the past two years magic as well. She'd learned all I had to teach her a month back and was very powerful by this world's standards.

When I saw the two kids I sighed. "Ric, you know I don't make house calls. The wolf looks ready to wet the floor."

He smirked and passed me the bourbon as I sat down. A custom he and I had built up over the years. He asked. "Think you could do another ring?"

I shook my head. "Pass, have Hope here do it. She's mastered all the magic I know and one day soon she'll be as powerful as Bonnie is now."

I gave the new kids a critical look before turning back to him. "Was that all? I've a history class to teach. It was just getting interesting as well."

Hope snorted and rolled her eyes. I raised an eyebrow asking. "You have something to say dear niece of mine?"

She smiled. "Yeah, you're a boring teacher-"

I snapped my fingers and her mouth was gone. "What was that? I must be going deaf in my old age."

She rolled her eyes and narrowed them in concentration trying to break my spell. When she managed it finally she said. "Whatever, I'm going for a run."

I chuckled. "Tell you what, you wait till I get done with my class and I'll join you."

Her eyes went wide before she said. "As a wolf?"

I nodded. "Why not? It's been a while and the grounds are invisible to humans so it'll be fine."

Landon looked bugged a bit as he asked to stay. I shrugged. "It's up to Ric here. I don't do whiney teens."

Alaric shook his head and told him. "This is a school for supernatural kids, as far as I can tell your mother one of them."

I coughed and Alaric looked to me before I nodded. "Actually, he is."

Hope asked shocked. "Really? What is he, a unicorn?"

I snorted. "Hardly. But unicorns are real FYI. No, he's a Phoenix."

Alaric and Hope's eyes bugged out now while Landon asked. "The fiery bird?"

I nodded. "Bingo. Rare as hell and hard to come by but yeah, I can see it inside you. You've got Phoenix blood for sure. It's just not activated so for all intents and purposes you're human so yeah, you probably won't fit in here."

Landon looked downed by my last words asking. "Is there a way to activate it? And if there is can I stay?"

I looked to Alaric who said. "A Phoenix is a supernatural creature so yeah you'd be able to stay, if it were active."

Landon smiled. "This is great, how do I activate it?"

I grinned and told him. "You die."

He stilled. "What?"

Rafael stood up. "He's not dying!"

I chuckled. "Sit down puppy, it's not like he'll stay dead. No, he's as immortal as I am. He can't really be killed for good without a golden arrow from a Cupid. Feathery bastards were the enemies of Phoenix's everywhere for a time. Nasty to because after they made humans feel something they ripped out their hearts and ate them. I killed a few Cupid's a couple decades back and we have a golden arrow in the safe."

Hope told Landon. "It's your decision but eventually you will die, whether by old age or accident and you'll activate your abilities then."

He looked at her before asking me. "How do we do this?"

I smiled a waved a hand. "Bye bye, see you when you wake up."

I teleported him ten stories into the air above the pavement outside and let him fall. A cruel death but I'd become bored so I'm ok with it. Rafael asked. "Where did he go?"

I pointed out the window just as he hit the ground and died bloody. Rafael lost his cool but I stopped him saying. "It was that and he stays to join you as a new student or he stays human. You wouldn't have done it and I wasn't about to let Hope do it. Alaric here's to soft to kill kids so I did the honors. Hope, show him around before he's the one going splat."

She calmed him down as they left the office. Alaric asked. "Was that really necessary?"

I shook my head. "No, but we've other things to talk about now. It's time Lexi and I left. We should've done so after I got back from the last prison world but I've been holding off because she wanted to spend a few more years with Stefan and the rest of you lot. But now, I can feel it's time we went."

He swallowed and I patted him on the shoulder as he was at a loss for words. "I know old friend, but it's time."

We shared a few drinks before I canceled my class to run with Hope as wolves one last time. Nik and Hayley joined us and she became suspicious until finally when we shifted back and were greeted by all our friends and family she demanded. "What's going on?"

I turned to Nik who nodded sadly and I asked her. "Do you remember your fifteenth birthday party? What Lexi and I explained to you then?"

She thought back and began panicking. Lexi sighed. "We're leaving now. It's time."

Hope started crying but it was no more than the rest of them. I gave her a hug, then Nik, Elijah, Rebekah, Finn, and so on. When I finished with Damon and Lexi with Stefan I told him. "You've been like a brother to me for nearly two centuries and it's time you remembered."

My words hit him drawing out my hidden conversation I'd once had with him. He smiled sadly and nodded. I turned to Lexi as we walked into the field away from them. Our dramatic seen was cut short by Landon's body bursting into flames.

I chuckled. "Phoenix's, always a reminder that nothing is truly over."

They all chuckled sadly with me as I hugged Lexi and turned to our gathered friends waving by. I unfurled ten stars of magic and reached for what I needed as I willed us to open a doorway between realities. It wasn't anything fancy, merely a swirling portal that we stepped through into our trek home.
